I'm applying to my local Disney store for about 10-15hours per week as a second job. I'm also hoping it'll get me some perks for my fall trip. What discounts (if any) do you get in the parks? On tickets? etc.

Because they are no longer owned by Disney, you get almost no benefits at WDW for being a TDS employee, unless you are a manager. Regular employees get two or three comp admissions to a park after six months of service, and I'm pretty sure blackout dates apply.

That's about it. Well, you get a discount at TDS and the Children's Place as well, but that's normal in retail.

You'd make a lot more money applying at other retail stores. TDS pays very low for very hard work, and there are really no benefits worth working there for.

One other thing, you won't be able to take those dates off for your vacation. TDS does not allow vacation during November and December.

I have been working for TDS for nearly two years.

We get up to 3 comp tickets per calendar year good at either WDW or DL (you have to sendin a request at least 30 days in advance to your arrival at the park). The tickets are only good until the end of the calendar year. They do have park hopping abilities. You need to have worked at the store for at least 6 months before you are qualified for them and you need to be a regular cast member (seasonal CMs do not get the tickets). Aside from that, we get a 30% discount at TDS and Children's Place. That's it. All our other perks/discounts were canceled as soon as we were sold.
