I was just wondering which Disney items you have collections of? I started a snowglobe collection for my dd. I love them, they are so beautiful and I can't wait until our trip next month when we can buy a new one.
I'd like to start a new collection for myself but I'm not sure what so I'd love to hear about everyone elses collections! :goodvibes

Look in my SIG at DD's TINK ROOM .

I update it as we add to it.

I also am starting a snowglobe collection for my DD. She is turning 2 in a few months and she will get her first one on her birthday. :goodvibes

For myself, I collect mugs and picture frames! :wizard:

I have a spare bedroom that will be my Disney room. I painted it a lavenderish color (the exact color is the Home Depot color "Eeyore"). I have purchased 12 11X14 Disney movie posters framed in black that will go around the room like a border. I still need quite a few more posters to complete that look....

I found 3 feet stuffed Mickey and Minnie at a garage sale - still in the plastic that her kids bought at Disney (the $50 ones) for $6.00 that sit on my comforter.

I have a Pooh corner that have some stuffed Pooh things. And I have a Princess wall that WILL have princess items (still yet to be purchased.).

So another words, I am collecting any kind of Disney item that will go in my room! (trash cans, plug outlets, lamps, clocks, etc.) It will take years to accomplish.... But it is fun looking for things...

Have fun collecting!!!

We collect shot glasses from everywhere we go. For Disney, we also collect a picture frame (one for us, one for DD) each time where there and add a special family photo.
Can't wait for a new one :thumbsup2

Every year at Christmas I set up my Disney Village under one of our Christmas trees. I have the monorail, Contemporary, Poly, Epcot, Cinderella's Castle, Magic Kingdom set with train, Snow White Cottage, Aladdin set, Beauty and the Beast (each set has the characters to the stories). That one tree is also done up with Disney ornaments. Each time I go to Disney World I purchase a new piece or two for my set and/or my tree. I think I need to get a new Monorail though, because it's starting to move extremely slow. LOL

CHristmas ornaments and tshirts..DH always gets the Glass dragons from the crystal place

I collect Disney snowglobes as well. Although my collection is relatively small, about 20 large globes, I admire them to death. I have a large curio cabinet that displays them in my living room. I am at the Disney store every few weeks, on ebay, and even when I travel to the world in hopes of another beautiful one to add to my collection. My soon-to-be hubby thinks I am nuts since each one is roughly $100 each. But I tell him, hey you collect your goofy superhero stuff and I'll collect mine.... :teeth:

I like to find Disney charms for my charm bracelet. I also like mugs & pins. :cloud9:

I have a rather large collection of beer steins and mugs. (Steins have lids, and mugs don't.) And, several years ago, I always enjoyed looking at, and sometimes buying, a mug or stein at Germany in Epcot. However, these days the selection is quite limited at that shop.

I do have the Disney steins in my collection, by the way. Only three of them were ever made (Mickey, Donald, and Goofy), as they stopped production of what would have been a much larger collection. I heard that they quit making them because of a complaint from "Mothers Against Drunk Driving," as that group held that Disney figures on beer steins might lead children to start drinking. (Anyone who has ever seen one of these steins would at once see that it would be difficult to drink beer from any of them.)

For whatever reason, it is a real shame production was halted. They would have been real collector's items.

I have about 30 snowglobes, and alot of other "stuff" a few cookies jars,
teapot, figurines, picture frames, a few set of dishes, if i can afford it and it is disney I buy it and if I am in wdw i may even ship something home.

I collect Disney PVC's (those little rubber or plastic figures). I currently have around 400, 50 or so of Mickey. I just love them and they are very hard to damage so I don't need to worry about my son playing with them or a cat knocking them over. I love the snowglobes, but I knew they'd have a very short life in my home.

I collect

coffee mugs
magnets
shot glasses (dh collects these)
sterling silver charms
snow globes
t-shirts

Not too much

I started my Mickey Mouse collection when I was in 2nd grade (I'm now 36). My god mother gave me my very first Mickey, I still have him, he now sits on my bedside table since he's too fragle to keep in my bed with me any more. LOL I collected Mickey's for many, many years until a few years back when I started to like fairies, which in turn got me interested in Tink. I have a huge collection of Tinks now, I try to buy the rare items that come out and have a curio filled with different Tinks.

Here's a few pics...
