I am 34 and 50lbs over weight, just got a bit of bad news from my bloodwork.
I am an active working,married mom of 2.
I use to run in my 20's (with the help of energy pills) I do like to run, but 2 kids, a DH and a full time Job later, well not so much running, if you don't call running down the hall to chase a naked baby to get dressed. HA HA
So my request is I want to run a 1/2. My DH's work sponsors a 1/2 in the fall. I don't want to tell my DH I want to run it.
I have never ever ran a marathon or even a 5K. But for some reason, I think now's a good time to start. So Runners, HOW DO I DO IT?
I have a treadmill and an eplictal at home.
Any advise will be so much appreciated
