i'm making my list for october 2010 and so far have geffric down......

if any of the homies here would like to join in for the week, a few days or a couple of meals or just for a cup of coffee or soda, we would love to have you!

i mean that.


i had such a wonderful time with geffric and Miss M and the other dis board ladies i met.
we all blended well and got along great.

i didn't get to Ghiraldelli and i had that free coupon from being a member of their website...........

but i did eat ice cream for breakfast some mornings and when i returned early to sports, got ice cream there at night.

Keeping busy here as normal.

Thursday night Stephanie had a soccer game in the freezing cold rain - it was not fun!!!!!Luckily, we were able to sit in an open air pavilion, so we didn't get wet, but we did freeze!!!

Yesterday was a busy working day (not with customers, just work) and then last night was fun fair night at Katie's school. I was hoping to get home early, but Stephanie was having such a good time with her friends, that we ended up not getting home until 9pm.

Today, Stephanie has another soccer game, but not until noon. The sun is out now, and I"m hoping it stays out The cold doesn't seem so bad when the sun is out. After today, Stephanie has one more game left - I'm so glad!!! This has been such a sucky fall to play soccer

Tomorrow is my birthday, so we are spending it by going out to breakfast, going to the pumpkin patch, and the County Line Orchard to get some doughnuts and a birthday carmel apple - yummy!!!!! I would then like to get a stuffed pizza, and go home The weather is suppossed to half-way decent, so I'm hoping it will be a good day



paint - Will you be able to work while student teaching? The college here doesn't allow students to work while student teaching - I don't know why I"m so excited for you that you are almost done

Hi guys! Thanks for all the cyber hugs and well wishes. Yesterday was like the day that wouldn't end! We spent the day with my MIL, DH and I went to the funeral home to make all the arrangements. Today we will meet with the decon at the church to plan the mass. It's almost like DH is an only child, his DBro is not much help. He even told DH that he didn't think he'd be able to stay at the wake the whole time, that he couldn't handle it! Ugh, family!

The wake is tomorrow and funeral Monday. I'm sure those two days will be the most difficult.

mac - yikes! Someone hit you?! I hope you're feeling better and that it wasn't anything more serious.

slo - an early Happy Birthday to you!! I know I won't be online probably until Tuesday so I'll give you and early one rather than a late one!

Bunchkin - hope Lauren is feeling better. Great news on the insurance!

Hey everyone. Busy day at work today. Glad to be home relaxing for a bit before bed. Kids are tucked in and DH is watching a race.
Bunchkin, great news on your insurance. Tell Lauren we are thinking of her and send her to help her feel better.
Mac, hope you aren't too sore from your brush with the auto. I would love to be included next October. But I better wait to see how this first solo trip with DH home with the kids works out!

Hey ya'll. I'm back. Last week was probably the most crazy of my life, ever. I don't even remember what I did, but I had something every day after school plus massive amounts of homework leading to about 5 hours of sleep every night. I started working Friday nights on top of Thursday and Sunday nights so that was just a bundle of joy to do with my Friday night...not. Oh and today I was at Central Michigan University in Mt Pleasant, about 4.5 hours away, for a scholarship competition: got up at 6am after getting home from work at 11pm Friday night, drove up to CMU, wrote the essay for the competition, listening to a few speakers about the school, found out I'll have to go to grad school, then drove home. Well actually my dad drove, I slept about 4 of the 9 hours we were in the car today. Crazy day nonetheless...to go along with a crazy week.
Sounds like all of us are having insane/bad/hard weeks. While my week doesn't compare to getting hit by a car or losing a family member, on top of being insanly busy, both the normal flu and H1N1 are going around my high school right now. A lot of people that went to homecoming last week were sick all this week. I've got a nasty cough that I'm hoping doesn't turn into another more than me taking Musinex. Well I'm off, talking to my best friend who I haven't seen two weeks because her sister has a confirmed case of H1N1 so she had to stay home from school too then off sleep because I've got a concert tomorrow night. Good idea...not sure but we'll see if I can make it through Monday. =) See ya everyone.

BunchkinWow that tour sounds awesome! I'm so jealous! I want to take a tour of Disney at some point; I think it would be so interesting and neat. Sounds like you had a great time. =)
I hope Lauren feels better soon. One of my friend's has a fake front tooth as well and I never knew till she mentioned it to me one day. So just in case she's worried about people seeing the difference, its hard to tell.

I had such a great day yesterday!!!!!


Kevin made me such an awesome breakfast.
Then we drove to the pumpkin patch, and then to the apple orchard - it was such a beautiful day to take an autumn ride
Then Kevin surprised me with a little birthday party with family and friends - it was so nice. He decorated the house with Mickey Mouse decorations, got my favorite pizza, and got a Mickey Mouse cake. It was all perfect!!!
He really made my birthday very very special


Thank you to everyone here for wishing me a "happy birthday!!" It warms my heart that you thought of me


ID - I've been thinking so much about you, because I lost my grandma very unexpectedly, so I understand the pain you are all going through. I'm continuing to keep you all in my thoughts and prayers during these very difficult days

Happy Monday! Yes. I am saying it with a straight face! I had a fairly relaxing weekend. I got cut from work Friday and didn't have to work on Saturday. Dh and I went to a weinie roast at his boss's house. When we pulled up, I saw the Mickey family decals on his car. I knew we'd have something to talk about! After that, we went to dinner to celebrate our 3 year dating anniversary (silly, I know). It was a cute place, but the food was only okay and the service wasn't so hot. I had delivered a cake earlier in the day, and she forgot to bring it out. I had to sneak off and remind her. Yesterday, I did the usual Sunday homework/housework stuff.
Anyway, I haven't mentioned this before but could use thoughts, prayers, and PD...my youngest sister is having heart surgery at Rush on Wed. morning. I am heading up Tues. night, then going there with my mom, dad, and sister. She has a rather larger hole in her heart that wasn't discovered until a few months ago. They went back and forth about being able to close it with a device (one of those surgeries where they go in the vein in your neck and leg), but they decided it wouldn't work. She is otherwise healthy and young (21) so the Drs. think she'll be fine, but it is still heart surgery! She'll be in IC for a few days and in the hospital a week. Needless to say, my big sister worrying is now in overdrive!

chell- Hopefully, the H1N1 stays away! It's tough, too, because some people are either overreating (like just having a cold) or using it as an excuse. There is a confirmed case at DH's school and a paper was sent home with things to watch for. One of the bullets actually said- If someone has difficulty breathing or stops breathing,call 911. Gee, thanks.
Mac- That is crazy! Hope you are okay. SOmetimes, I see people backing up and think-they aren't going to stop!
Bunchkin- Hope dd is okay, too.

Well, I better go keep the kids on track. They had trouble going to sleep last night (their dad let them have a 2 hour nap yesterday-thanks) and then trouble getting up today. It wouldn't be the first time I thought dd was getting dressed but was actually back in bed!
