i read in the chgo tribune how johnny depp left a $1000 tip for the waiter at the place he eats at in chitown.


next time he films in chitown, we need a chgo homie road trip to that restaurant he goes to frequently.
he said it is his favorite place in town.

Good Morning Everyone! nice day out. I had been wearing my jacket the past few days b/c i get chilly waiting for the train and walking to work. well, today, i actually had to take my jacket off b/c i was warm!! woohoo for some form of warm weather!

Hey all! We are back from the big camping trip.Glad to be home. I worked 12 hours yesterday, so today I started catching up with mail and everything. I have a softball game tonight in a little while. Tomorrw the van needs to go in to be looked at. We would smell antifreeze every time we stopped driving. No lights ever came on, but I was sure glad to make it home without trouble.
I need to go back to catch up with all the news, but wanted to say howdy.
Camping wasn't so bad, I only wish we'd been closer to the shower/washrooms. Rafting was fun and the kids had a great time. Enjoyed the ocean/hotel and the visit with my niece.
Now to move on to bigger/better things---planning my DisneyWorld birthday trip!! Today was the 90 day mark. We have ressies for O'Hanas, LeCellier, and Boma. Still have more to think about. Suggestions?!!!

Have you all ever ate something that you knew was going to give you a stomachache, but you ate it anyway and regretted it? I did this last night - I ate a gyros. I love them so much, but they don't love me I had such a stomachache last night, and I still have one today - it's like having a hangover from food

Thanks everyone for your positive thoughts about my business keeping up. Kevin said to me the other day, "If business gets this better when the economy is showing signs of getting better - imagine how business will be when the economy is good?!" I sure hope this is true!!!! {{fingers crossed}} I will keep you all posted on how things continue.

I hate how time is flying!!!!

To celebrate Stephanie's bday, we are taking her to Lincoln Park Zoo today (please pray for no rain). I asked my college employee to work today, so we could have a nice family day - Stephanie is very excited!!!! Then we are taking her out to dinner to Olive Garden - she loves this place (and I love that I have a gift card for there )

Went to Great America yesterday. Last minute deal, long story which should be relayed over a beer! It was different from WDW but I got to meet some more moms from Meg's school so that was nice. Got home round 11:30 PM, got into bed, ran out of bed into the bathroom and (sorry for the TMI) proceeded to puke my guts up for 45 minutes. I'm convinced it had somehting to do with the pizza and I had a touch of food poisining! Better this am but taking it easy!

OK so back to work! Boss is out for the next couple of weeks so I am trying to get him all set to go!

Esbrick ~ Sorry to hear you got sick. I'll make a mental note to myself not to eat the pizza when we go in a couple of weeks.

Kevin and the YVC crew went to the 63rd street beach yesterday to help clean it. Pretty sad hearing all the stuff they were finding, a whole lot of drug paraphinalia and condom wrappers. (at least it was the wrappers, I gag thinking if it was used condoms) Thankfully they were given some heavy duty medical gloves to wear.

Slo The puppy had distemper. An older dog might have made it. That is why I am such a stickler for immunizations for dogs if you can't keep up with them don't own an animal.

Esbrick Sorry you got sick. Was it Sausage? I almost never eat sausage pizza cause sometimes it is not cooked correctly.

Piglet Major YUCK on the beach cleaning I don't think I could bend my fingers wearing 10 pairs of gloves. I would need that to touch beach garbage without a big stick

Woohoo, I just booked our flights for our September trip! We are flying AA. Mike collects miles and signed me up for miles too. He has a ton already but this is my first time flying AA so i'm just starting out. Hopefully we will have enough for an upgrade come the wedding! Also, anybody know how to add my flights to my disney ressie so i can get our ME stuff?

Hi guys! Well, today didn't turn out at all like I had planned. Was supposed to take the kids to see Star Wars the Clone Wars at the local theater for $1, DH even took the day off. Instead I spent the day with 2 DSis cleaning my DMom's house. Got a call from DSis this am that DMom had fallen 3x in the last 24hrs, one of which was down a flight of stairs. She is VERY stubborn and insists she is fine but she is 81yrs old and too weak to manage stairs. We cleaned out part of her living room and set up a bed there. It's so hard to see her age so much, she is also becoming forgetful sometimes.

slo - Happy Birthday to Stephanie!! Isn't it amazing how fast they grow up!! My oldest is soon to be a teenager, ugh I'm so not ready for the teen years!! Hope you had fun at the zoo.

disneygal - congrats on booking your airfare. Wish I could help with the ME stuff but we've always done it over the phone. I've read you can do it online but I've never done it that way.

We had such an AWESOME family day yesterday!!!
The weather at the zoo was great, the animals were really active, dinner at Olive Garden was yummy, and then we shared some bday cake with our neighbors, and then Kevin and my neighbors DH lit off some fireworks for Steph's bday.
Stephanie had such a memorable day - it was really special!!!!

I will show her posts when she wakes up this morning.
She will feel very special after reading them
