My new windows are going in today
These guys really work at a nice pace. They started at 9am and already have my dining room, kitchen and family room done They still have 4 more to go, but I'm sure they'll get those done at a nice pace too

**That's nice that you and Hunter had a nice day alone together. I wish I could have some alone days with especially Stephanie. It's been so long since her and I have done something alone together, and we both miss it. Her and I always have enjoyed shopping, and Katie doesn't, so Katie puts a damper on things. Hopefully before summer is over Steph and I can do something {fingers crossed}.

lol @ macraven. Believe it or not, I'm not a baseball fan. I've got a Cubs hat as its camoflague for living on the North Side. Either team's game is an excuse to drink more than a few beers with good friends or loved ones.

Now hockey....Detroit all the way. And I love the Bears for football, especially if they actually get a QB sometime.

disneygal922- No wedding down there, just a honeymoon. We reluctantly decided against it when many of our F&F werent' going to be able to make the trek. Oh well, such is life. But congratulations to you!

Ok, how's this for bizarre? This afternoon I got a fax at work from a girl on a soap opera! I won't say who or what soap, but I will say that it's an ABC soap because I saw her at Super Soap Weekend when I went in...2004, I think. She hit a wrong button when she was dialing, because it was one digit off from mine. But it was the weirdest thing. I was like, my name isn't on this fax, then I realized that it was the soap's cover sheet, and that I recognized the name! She had her e-mail address on it (not to mention her credit card #! ), so I wrote her and told her that she needed to re-send, that I had gotten her fax. She wrote me back and asked me how that happened (and thanked me), so I wrote her back and explained.

What a coincidence! Of all the wrong numbers in the world!

Leigh good thing a honest person got ther fax. No one should send credit card number over the fax it is just like most email it isn't secure.

This week is taking forever though I still have much to do. We leave early Tuesday and yes I am very ready for this trip.

Slo, how do your windows look? Isn't it great to have new windows? I was so glad to have ours. Our old ones were really bad. Some wouldn't open and others would open if you used a stick to prop it up. I loved finally being able to get fresh air in the house and not always run the air conditioner.

Bunchkin, the kids and I would love to go see WALL-E with you guys. How about next week either Wednesday or Thursday?

Leigh, glad to know you weren't terribly hurt. I trip in my Crocs at work all the time too. Just did it today. Usually just a little stick to the front toe and then a stutter step. Then I laugh at myself and think, "if I just picked my feet up a little bit" How did the shades work out for you price wise from the measurements. We need to do our whole house but hate to spend too much. Not planning to stay here.

Paint, how is married life? Hope all goes well. Hope you got all the gas leak problems taken care of.

Thanks to all for the welcome back homes. It went so fast. I have some nice pix. I will post some when I get a chance. Kids loved hiking in the Redwoods.

Well, I had better get off to bed. I have to go visiting other hospital tomorrow. We are on the hunt for new monitoring equipment and are doing some comparison browsing. Nice day of pay. Limo ride, free lunch, and no real work. That's what I'm talking about. (not as good as Leigh getting paid for bowling, but I'll still take it!!)

Just wanted to let everyone know I'm still around here on the DIS.

Yesterday was a long day, not a bad day, just a long day.
After the windows were put in, it was time to clean up. There was a lot of sawdust everywhere, and with furniture pulled away from the wall, it was a good time to suck up the dust bunnies. So I was vaccumming until 10pm last night - not fun!!! But, I'm glad that I did it all last night, so I don't have to wake up to it today

Chloro - How fun to have a Disney honeymoon!!! You and DG can compare notes on plans

Leigh - How wild about that fax, and how nice of you to tell her that she sent that incorrectly I bet she was very very gratefully - I know I would have been!!!

HERSEY - How exciting that you are leaving Tuesday Do you make an itinerary? If so, what do you have planned?

Tigggernnnnnnn - The windows are very nice, thank you for asking!!!!! I am so in love with the ones that have blinds in the windows - no more dusty blinds!!! We also got slide windows, and I love them!!!! We had cranks before, and many of those were broken. They would open, but you had to use alot of muscle to open and close them.

Funny thing is, now that I am home I am not tempted to turn on the AC. I have a fan blowing at my feet and I feel just fine.

Cubs lose. Sox win. Part two of the Crosstown Series starts tomorrow.

Slo We don't have anything really planned. I plan on taking it easy and seeing how much the crowds will affect us. Also it looks like it will rain. I hope to try to get into 1 of the water parks but we will have to see how the weather holds.

The series the Cubs just lost to the Orioles was just the SECOND one this season at Wrigley, the first being the one they lost to Milwaukee at the beginning of this season. I think Wrigley will showcase a dominant Cubs team this year. Now all they need to do is start winning on the road more.

Dinner Impossible and Disney's Dreamer's Academy will be making dreams come true for Robert's next mission. Robert's challenge will lead him on a scavenger hunt through all four of Disney's major theme parks! The hunt concludes at Epcot's World Showplace where he will meet a new Food Network face, Jeff Henderson.
