Calling all cheerleading moms and dads for advice

So my DD6 is in 1st grade. She had been doing gymnastics for 1.5 years. She will be doing straight tumbling starting in 2 weeks. She really wants to do cheerleading.

I was thinking of enrolling her in dance. She has asked numerous times. What type of dance class is best to help prepare her?
