Calling all analytical folks...Which day would you choose?

Crowd Calendars show MK as a 5/10 on Thurs May 11 Hours 9am-11pm Disney After Dark event.
Crowd Calendars show MK as a 6/10 on Friday May 12 Hours 9am-12pm with No event.

Which day would you choose?
Is a Crowd level 5 on a Thursday with an event greater than, less than, or equal to
a Crowd level 6 on a Friday with no event?

Not enough difference to matter, especially given these are educated predictions at best. Pick what fits your schedule.

I would opt for the 5/10 day because I wouldn't make it to midnight anyway.

I would just do as you wish. The parks have been crowded nom-stop for 2 years. I gave up on the crowd calendars around then.

But if I was going to look at those two days, and take it into consideration the day with the event "should" be less crowded. Take all that with a grain of salt though, because I both days are going to be crowded.

The day with the event will likely be less crowded up until about 7 o'clock. Assuming that's the time they let event people in, you'll have event people on top of regular people, which will make that day much more crowded when the two groups overlap.

I would choose the non-event day simply because I would be dealing with less crowds at night, which is when MK is most magical.

When do you plan on touring, and do you have hoppers?

We RD and are generally "done" with a park around 3-4, then we head to the room for a break and hop somewhere else just for shows/parades/snacks. In this instance it's tricky because the crowd calendars don't take into account DAH - I would go Thursday because everybody would see the event and change days to Friday.

BUT IMHO, if you RD and are done by 5 or 6 then either day is fine. If you want to close the park i'd pick Friday.

If I were not going to the event, I'd choose the non-event day.
