Calling all AKV experts..?s

I apologize if this is not the right forum, but I wasn't sure where to post these questions.

I am seriously considering taking advantage of the current AKV add-on incentive, but just have a couple of questions about Kidani Village.

I know it will have a splash park area for kids. Will this be exciting enough for pre-teens / teens? Will there be other activities?

I remember reading about the various savannahs (rainforest, etc.) located in Kidani Village. Where can I get more information about these?

You probably wont get much advice about Kidani yet until after May when some of us have had a chance to stay there. The only information at this point is what has been printed from Disney.

Well I am no expert for sure. We added on at AKC in Aug. site unseen except for touring the models last year at SSR. HOWEVER......the deal is great, from what I read on here and friends that have stayed there...I don't think we will be disappointed at all. It is not like you can't stay at other resorts. We purchased SSR in late Jan. 07 and have already stayed at BCV, BWV and OKW and of course SSR. SO really.....I look at it this way.....I can stay ANYWHERE DVC if it means a trip to Disney. We are not picky at all. I mean sure we have a couple of faves right now but we had no problem buying into AKV without even stepping inside the resort just because DISNEY gets it done right. We would have a nice vacation at any of the resorts. I think AKV has some very unique reasons to stay and if you research it a bit on here even....you will get loads of info. I have a 17, 14 and 9 year old and they have been happy at the DVC resorts that don't have heavy theming and had fun. Of course SAB at BCV is their current fave but I have a feeling when they see AKV in Nov. they will get very excited about that being another home resort for us.

I am having such a hard time deciding on whether to add-on at AKV now or wait for BLT.

Everything I have read so far seems really positive (with the exception of a quick serve location at AKV).

We have stayed at concierge level and standard at AKV, and both were great! I have no doubt Kidani will be the same.
