hi, could you please share where your favorite room is located? and why it's the best? thanks in advance

I just stayed there last week and it was wonderful!! We stayed in a savannah view room 3514. The view of the savannah was great, lots of animals and we were not too far from the elevator down to the pool and Mara.

Hope this helps!

Denise

I enjoy lower level rooms (closer to the animals, but not as extensive a view of the savannah) on the Zebra trail, which is closest to the elevator to the pool, simba's cub house and Mara. But I'll take any room as long as it is at AKL! :D

We were at the end of a small hall off the Zebra Trail looking at the Uzima Savanna. Room was 44--. We looked straight out at giraffes and to the left lots of other animals. Down below (if you looked over the rail) was a hot tub and to our right the flamingos, and pool area. WE LOVED THIS VIEW. The great part was as you sat there, you did not look out at another part of the hotel. So unless we looked to the right at the pool we truly had a view of animals only. No people or building.

And it was a short walk to lobby area, down the elevator to the pool and food areas. GREAT location in that regard.

This last trip we decided to save alittle and get pool view. We never even used the balcony. Next time it is Savannah or Standard for us........but then maybe it's time to try a new hotel ;) and have a new adventure.
