A Special "Hello" to all of my old friends:

000_0017.sized.jpg

Wow, it seems like forever since our cruise and since we got together for brunch in October. Can't wait to see you all again, hopefully this year :sunny:

To all of my new friends who I have not had the pleasure of meeting *yet*, can't wait until you all are in the picture with us!! :grouphug:

P.S. The photo credit goes to Lyn, web page courtesy of Bobby. :)

:sunny: :flower: Spring Arrives in "2" Days :flower: :sunny:

Now I have to let my dog out this morning so he can do his business, if you know what I mean!!! :rotfl2:

I was trying to think of something really earth shattering to say since this is my 7500th post on the DIS, but the only thing I can think of right now is that we might be putting a deposit down in a piece of property in Florida next week. It's a double lot, with an older mobile home on it, but that doesn't matter because once we retire and get down there, we're going to buy a new double wide home to replace the older home that is there now. At least we will be able to say that we are Florida homeowners!!!

:cheer2: TGIF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have a GREAT ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cheer2:

Thanks for the countdown Terry, WOW, just 74 more weeks to go!!!!! :cool1:

Terry

Great photo :flower: , for those of us not sure who is who, can you give us a bit of an idea, I know which one you are and I think I spot Carmen and Doreen, but not sure on the others.

Thanks :flower2:

Sue :cool1:

Sue - Im the tall blonde in the leapard print shirt that is standing against the blue wall. My DD is the one in front of me with LTD TOO on the front of her sweatshirt.

Im much better looking and much much thinner in person - LOL. Can you tell im still dreaming - LOL

Andy,

7500 way to go, :cool1: :jumping1:

Good Morning all. 2 days to spring and the weather people are now saying snow with rain mixing in for first day of spring.

Sure hope they are wrong

Thanks Ginny

It's great to put names to faces :cool1:

I noticed on another thread that everyone was asked to post their favorite disney picture of themselfs and family, and I think it would be fun to do that here, then we can all get to see each other. :jumping1:

What do you think? I cant post one right now as I am at work, but I suppose my favorite is already in my signiture, but I will find another one to post later.

Just thought this might be a bit of fun, so who wants to go first.

Sue :hyper:

TERRY!

Thanks for posting the photo of our Breakfast Meet. Wonderful memories!!

We really need to do that again. PLEASE! :goodvibes

Me, I'm in the back on the right, wearing blue. (To the right of Bev in red). :flower:
Sandy is in the front, beautiful blonde, second child from the right in tan shirt. :flower3:
Stan is MIA...confined to the hospital room at that time.

Darlene

Terry: That picture made my day. I was having a crappy day at work and that brightened it. I really miss my friends, :grouphug: and I can't wait to meet the new ones.

I wanted to mention to you to make sure you tell DU to make a note that John is Diabetic on your reservation because Chef Dick at the Polyneisan Concierge will make a special sugar free desert everyday for him. Bob said they were fabulous.

Lyn

Lyn: That's precisely why I posted it last night! I saw it on online while I was looking for a different picture and it just made me smile to see it, so I figured I'd post it here :)

It brings back such great memories, not only of the brunch, but of our cruise :cloud9:

When I see Ginny I vividly remember her coming up to me when she got off the banana boat because she saw us waiting in line for our turn, and she gave us some ride tips, and I just thought that was really nice of her to take the time to do that :)

And how about you (Lyn), Doreen, Karen, me, and our John-Bob-Marty spouses having all that fun at the Quiet Cove pool almost every day? I felt almost guilty having so much fun without the kids. Hehehe. :teeth: I have to say, this is one of the things I am looking forward to the most for our next cruise!

When I see Bobby & Cindy's pic the memory that stands out the most is the last night on the ship when we saw him and his kids out on the top deck, while we all watched in awe as the Wonder approached the Magic, and all of the cheering from both ships. Many of us knew how rare of an event it actually was. :) I also can't forget all the work their family did to give us those wonderful magnets on all of our doors! Mine are proudly displayed on the fridge :cool2:

When I see Mary Rose all I can remember is how friendly she was, even from the very first moment meeting her!! She is such a fun person, too, and how nice it was of her and John-Bob to open their home to us after the brunch :) I *still* haven't heard the full story of the REAS snake or whatever it was ;) All we got was a boring heart shape made out of a blanket. lol

When I see Darlene in that pic I remember being SO happy that she was able to make it to the brunch, especially with Stan being so ill at the time. I was actually confused when she said who she was (I don't think our paths crossed much on the actual cruise!) because I never thought she would be there. Now, I'll never forget her :)

And last but not least, meeting our new friend Bev! I thought that was very brave of her to join us since she hadn't met any of us before, but I am so glad she did! Now she's another familiar face that I am looking forward to seeing again soon, I hope. It was also great for all of our kids to get together again too. :sunny:

Anyway, it sure is nice to sit back and reminisce once in a while, and to know we'll be sharing another wonderful Disney cruise together, PLUS the excitement of meeting our new friends! :boat: Actually, I feel like I've known Andy for years now ::yes:: Just haven't met in person, although we came pretty close last August, according to our calculations we must've missed each other by minutes at the Radisson. :hourglass

Sue I am the one under the exit sign in the white collor and purple shirt. My son is in front of me inthe bright green shirt, my husband is in the red RACE CAR jacket. My daughter for some reason is in front of GINNY AND CARMEN in a white shirt with her hair pulled back.

That was the best BRUNCH I ever went to. All of us had such a great time. All the kids got along so well. MARYROSE and JOHN-JOHN's son and his spoons,.. all the crayons, the poor waiters and waitresses.. will they ever work another "BRUNCH "again??? :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Ed sorry about your CAT. they are OUR babies...
MARY glad your dad is feeling better..
HEATHER.. prayers to your friend and her family...
TINA.. I am brining Jaclyn and her friedns to BIAGGIS in VICTOR for her 16 B'DAY via a LIMO... Have you ever been there?? :flower: Thats the best i can do for a SWEET 16... :rolleyes2 When will you be back from VEGA???

Snow is melting here.. KAREN is on here way back from DISNEY.. It poured all day there yesterday.. but she did not stay in doors.. She was ble to see all the "SHOWS" she said. She will be in SYRACUSE tomorrow.. WAHOO :jumping1:
