Angelina and I took Hazel to the Hollywood Diner last evening after I finished with physical therapy for her birthday dinner. We had a very nice time, in fact, we even sat next to one of our former State Senators and his son. I even had a little chuckle as I saw the senator spill some food down the front of his sweater, goes to show, his is only human!!!

It's still quite cold here this morning, but at least the wind isn't as bad today. Spring is just a little over two weeks away, not that I'm counting, LOL!!!

So far it appears as we will be on the warmer side of the next storm moving in and we should be getting mostly rain here in South Jersey as our temps on Monday are supposed to be in the low 50's, but the rain could end as wet snow on Tuesday. I saw on our local news station yesterday that by the middle to the end of March, our high temps should be getting back in the 50's and 60's, where are my shorts and t-shirts???

I'm heading in to work this morning, still trying to get the meter readings up to date before our trip to visit my mom later this month. The extra $$ for working today willl come in handy for our vacation this summer!!!

Hi everyone

Thanks for all your prayers and thoughts for my mom. She is still in the hospital and they are still doing all kinds of tests on her. She's scheduled for something on Monday so she will be there for atleast a few more days. As much as I wish she was home, I knew she's better off at the hospital where hopefully they can figure out what made her pass out. (Afterall, she has to be fine for our cruise next year). It's like she went in for an oil change and is getting a major tune up - LOL. I'd rather be safe then sorry. My mom said some of the nurses sang her Happy Birthday yesterday and brought her a small chocolate birthday cake. What a way to spend a birthday.

To everyone celebrating birthdays this week - Do something special for yourselves on your special day.

Bev...I haven't read all the pages I missed, but I hope your mom gets a clean bill of health. From past experience my DD has fainted twice. Once when she was in 4th grade and once in 6th grade. After an EEG, EKG, Echo and complete cardiac workup including a holter monitor, the diagnosis was "dehydration". I have NEVER heard of this before in my life, but the cardiologist said he sees 10-12 kids a month who pass out due to dehydration. Hopefully this is what is going on with your mother.

Just got home from work and I'm one pooped pup!!! I read over 400 meters today. On any given day I will read about 125 meters. One reason I was able to get so many done today was because all the meters I read today are touch pad meters, meaning they are on the outside of the house. The only drawback with that was, I had to walk through more snow to get to the side of the house where the touch pads were located. At least it was a beautiful, bright, day here today with a high temp of around 40. I had to run home at noon to get a "LIGHTER" coat on, as I was getting too warm with my winter parka that I was wearing earlier this morning. Now, I just hope I can get out of bed on Sunday morning. I need to go ice my knee down and get some of this swelling down. My DW and DD are out food shopping, so it's nice and quiet in the house for a little while longer, LOL!!!
