Fab pictures, love the shoes and tux, do you still have them?
Have a very safe journey, and a magical time onboard. Happy new year to you all.

Love Sue

No, those shoes are long gone, but I did have them for "SEVERAL" years!!! LOL!!! The tux was a rental (thank goodness)!!! :earseek:

WOW a lot to catch up on!!!
I hope everyone had a great holiday. As crazy as we are, 7 of us ventured into NYC on TUESDAY. MY family of 4, Jaclyns BF and my mom and her hubbie. We were supposed to go in November but I was in the hospital and not up to it.. so all bundled we went. Jaclyn and my mom got to be on the the TODAY SHOW too!.
We walked and walked and walked/ for 81 yrs old Roger held up pretty well. We left at 330 AM and got home at 11pm. I am always game for a ROAD TRIP :moped:
ANDY AND HAZEL.. congrats :lovestruc again on the ANNIVERSARY The pix looks great. She may clobber you .. but its worth it.
Welcome to our new friends.. Beware of GINNY taking your SMOOTHIE maker....(or ice). Terry glad you had a good time in Virginia... Karen will understand.

New York was busy getting ready for New Years Eve...someday I :drinking1 will attempt to be there for that ordeal ,, but not yet.
BOBBY,I was looking for you driving around....along with the other 5000 drivers..lol
God bless the people involved in the Tsunani and all the lives lost. :grouphug:

Andy, I love the magnet. You look the same! Hazel is even more beautiful! Blue tuxes must have been the "thing", my 1st wedding included a powder blue tux in 1978. :groom:

Have a great trip!

Glad you had a great day in NYC. Sandy and I never made it this year. We'll try again. Darn work keeps getting in the way of all our fun. :( Now if I can just think of a way to get a paycheck without actually showing up at work... :scratchin

Happy New Year!!!
Darlene

Darlene - When you figure out how to get a paycheck without showing up at work, let me know so I can do it too. LOL

Andy - loved the pictures. Both of you haven't changed. Have a great trip.

To everyone else - Have a Happy New Year.

Bev

We will be leaving for PA. in the morning and in case I don't get on the computer, I want to wish all my DIS friends a very Happy and Healthy New Year.
Our prayers to all who were affected by the Tsunami.

Joanna

Joanna, whats in PA? How long will you be gone? come on spill the beans.
Darlene, This trip to the CITY was trully sightseeing and it almost killed JACLYN not to buy that much. Once we got to BATTERY PARK and those "VENDORS" were there, I thought she would die when I said no...

Darlene

Hi Darlene! Thanks for the wave! :wave2:

Ginny...the reason I couldn't find the smoothie maker is because DH opened it & put it on the counter. I thought it was my old blender sitting there. duh anyway it is a Smootie Master by Rite Aid corp. I didn't realize when it was in the box, that there is a only a part that is battery operated. It is a hand held mixer that attaches to the top of the smoothie master. You can remove it & use it as a portable hand mixer. Don't know how good it works yet, but I will let you know.

Diane

Hi everyone :wave2:

Andy: You and Hazel look even better now than in your wedding pic! :bride: :groom: And you both looked GREAT back then, but even better now.

Joanna: Have a wonderful trip!! :moped:

Doreen: That trip to NYC sounds like a lot of fun! I really want to get to NYC one of these days. How about a meet at that new "World of Disney" store in NYC? THAT would be a blast! Maybe something we can all do in the spring?? :)

Diane: Another smoothie maker owner! I really need to buy one. So far our regular blender does an excellent job of making smoothies, but I like the smoothie makers because they have the spout at the bottom of the pitcher!

I just made a pitcher of those Orange Dream frozen drinks by TGIFridays. Then John told me that he didn't want any...so...it's up to me to drink it all. LOL :drinking1

Usually I have a HUGE group of teenaged boys at my house on New Year's Eve but this year another one of Craig's friends decided to have it at his house. That's a nice break for us, but I will miss that, a little. It's just John, Robby, and I here tonight. We told Robby that he could invite some friends over for the night if he wanted to, but I think he's still exhausted from being away earlier this week, he said he wanted to just stay home and hang out.

We just finished a big Chinese food dinner. That seems to be a tradition up here in Massachusetts; everyone I know has Chinese food on NYE! LOL Have any of you ever heard of that?? Later on we'll have ice cream, pie, cookies, etc. And of course, I have to drink that big pitcherful of Orange Dream all by myself.... :faint: I have the first glassful right here, in my Disney Cruise Line hurricane glass!

So...here's to ALL of you, and ALL of US, and OUR cruise.... and in a matter of hours we can all say "our Disney cruise is NEXT year"!! :boat: :bounce:

DH is working so it's just me & the kiddies. I made my own home made chinese food....potstickers. My kids love them, but they are a lot of work. I am finishing off a bottle of Asti Spumanti so....here's to you too Terry and everyone else!

Diane

Terri - we just got back from eating Chinese food too. Alot of people do it in Phila too. Lol. It's been our tradition for the last 8 years.

None of us made any plans for tonight. Then Harley was invited to a party and even though it's not far from our house, he's driving, and of course, I'm a nervous wreck. Then Lindsay was invited to a party and I have to drive her and pick her up. I really don't like driving on NYE but I will. It's hard to learn to let go and let your kids grow up. (Especially when I haven't grown up yet). LOL. So tonight will be just my mom and me celebrating the New Year and looking forward to our cruise.

Everyone, Happy New Year. :Pinkbounc

Well, I hate to break this to all of you in the frozen north, but it is so nice here in Florida this evening, a comfortable 75!!!

Our plane landed at MCO at 3:30pm and at 5:00pm we were sitting down to dinner at Dixie Crossroads in Titusville. Boy, those cornfritters and rock shrimp, tasted just as good as ever!!!

We called home and my mom and Angelina were going to order Chinese food for the two of them.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! We just went to see POLAR EXPRESS and then to dinner at Pizzarea Una.. that has been a tradition for over 15 yrs now. With me used to working the night shift in the ER... early dinner and off to work.

Jaclyn went to Babysit and now Daniel is setting up his train set to play with till the ball drops..
Terry I like your thought of NEXT YEAR its our cruise again. I wish it was this year though. 2005 I hope is better for us.

Andy.. we are not that far off from 70* we had 56 here today in Syracuse at one time.. its more like SPRING. Enjoy your time there..

HAPPY 2005 EVERYONE!!! :grouphug:

Doreen and family :rockband:

Well I only made it through 1 1/2 glasses of Orange Dream. lol I started to feel drowsy, so I dumped the rest out. 8pm was too early to fall asleep.

Andy: Glad to see you made it safely to Florida. My brother and his family from NJ are down there this week too. They actually called me from Florida this morning to ask me a "Disney question" :earboy2: They wanted to know where they could go for Tonga Toast. That was easy: The Kona Cafe at the Polynesian Resort :teeth:

Bev: I was just reading what you wrote about the RCI cruise. Wow, that employee should be reported to the cruise line and fired or reprimanded or something! That makes me mad to think he was harrassing your daughter
How did you like the ship itself? Do you have any pics you can share?? :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

I can't believe it's New Year's Eve it was around 60 here today and tomorrow it is supposed to be 65.

We spent the day picking up Matt's new car. We got a great deal from the dealer Bob works for so we couldn't pass it up. Matt will make the payments and Bob and I will pay the insurance. Insurance here is so high that the car is in our name and on our insurance. The rates in New Jersey make it impossible for kids to be able to afford the car and the insurance.

Matt is so happy he is speachless. I missed my chance to get him to cut that mowhawk though. I should have traded the car for the hair.

Bob and I are at home for the night. We went out to dinner with friends and that came home around 10 PM. I am starting to take down the decorations. I can't stand another minute of pine needles.

I hope everyone has a healthy, happy and properous New Year.

Lyn

Hi everyone

It's now officially 2005 so again, Happy New Year to all my friends. I'm up waiting for Harley to come home.

I can't believe our cruise is just next year. LOL

Lyn - congratulations on Matt's new car. I know what you mean about insurance. I have Harley on my insurance and we pay over $4000 alone just on his car.

Terri - I would love to share my pictures but I don't know how to do it. Can you please help me? Overall, the ship was unbelievable and I did have a good time (not a great time - not Disney LOL). It was real easy to get around the ship. There is a $3.95 pp service charge for Johnny Rockets but well worth it. There's a charge for all sodas and also Ben & Jerry's. I thought the cruise director was fantastic but overall the entertainment (except for the ice skating show) was just okay.

Darlene - hope this is a better year for Stan.

Bev ::MickeyMo

Thanks, Bev...we are looking forward to a great year for Stan.

Count us in with another "Chinese Food" tradition for NYE. That is so funny that so many of us do the same thing.

Did anyone else spend NYE in the emergency room? :sad2: We missed the ball dropping. Sandra had an asthma attack and I couldn't get her under control. She was coughing so hard it made her vomit. Our local hospital has a pediatrician on duty all the time, thank goodness. They gave her 2 treatments and because she also had a fever :headache: they gave her some Tylenol. She's sleeping now but still has a cough (she doesn't weeze). They showed me how to do a blow by treatment while she is sleeping.

On a happier note, we went to Disney On Ice :fish: today. The costumes were great. Then Sandy and I braved the mall! We got some stuff on sale (Disney Store, Hallmark, Sears) and she built another bear. Cute white bear with a white cable sweater and ice skates. She named her Snowflake.

Wishing everyone a HAPPY, HEALTHY, MAGICAL NEW YEAR! :grouphug:

Where in the world is Carmen???
