Calling All 8/19/06 Special Western Cruisers! AKA "The Cruisin' Castaways" Part 3

The Aug 22nd cruise has a meet thread going, though nowhere near as active as the Aug 15th thread. We're still trying to come up with a slogan.

I think you guys on the 8/15 Tortola cruise will set a record for most posts by a non-repo cruise.

I hope DCL keeps Tortola as a future port.
.

Yes. we have been on a roll lately :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I was a bit worried during the first quarter of the Giants game yesterday, but once they got cookin' look out Bucs...............;) ;) ;)

I watched the Rutgers game as well, that was some game!!!

I have been in contact quite a bit with the host of our DCL House Party, and these people are going all out, I will report back and let everyone know how it went. Even Angelina asked if she could go with us!!! :goodvibes

Heck I wish I lived closer, I would want to go too :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hey Ed, you have a little catching up to do with our 10/24/09 cruise meets thread, we have over 3400 posts and our thread started the same day your 8/15/09 thread did.............;)

Just havin' some fun with ya!!! :goodvibes

I wanted to share a pic with all of you that I took with my cell phone as I was reading water meters today. I was walking across a resident's driveway when I looked down and spotted this Hidden ::MickeyMo

That is absolutely AMAZING!!!!:cool1:

Yes, my 8/22 cruise meet thread is off to a slow start, but we are just pacing ourselves ;) Don't want to tire ourselves out so far in advance of sailing.

It always seems that the special itinerary cruises get the popular meet threads - look at the double dip cruises in 2006.

DD is very happy as a family who sailed with us back in August and has a daughter her age is on the 8/22 cruise.

Funny story about the Rutgers football game. We ended up not skiing as Saturday as both kids were exhausted from being back at school (slackers). I thought the game was on ESPN and not ESPN2 so I would have recorded the wrong channel. Good thing I was home.

Yep, you guys have an avantage, many of them on the 10.24.09 cruise have sailed together before.

Were not trying to be number one, just to stay in the top 5 of the 09 cruises.:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I don't see that as being a problem. ;)

I love the creativity in the slogan's for the meet threads. We need a creative person to sail on the 8/22 cruise so we can come up with a good crusing name because none of us can think of anything catchy.

I lucked out that someone came up with a name for my 8/17/08 cruise and has even designed t-shirts.

Hi. Omg Im soooooo Excited. Im going on the August 29th 2009 Cruise. My mom Just Booked it...

I need my Disney fix. We did the Transatlantic in August which was awesome. At the end of the 14 days, my mom said "I can't believe it's over. It went so fast". We went back 3 weeks later on the Wonder to celebrate my birthday and Lindsay's birthday. I've been trying to get my family to go on Disney but they think it's just for kids and too expensive. Well, I just got them to agree to go on 8/29/2009. :woohoo: I'm so excited. I can't believe we're going in 8/2009. Now I just have to plan 2008.

Bev :)

I've been watching video's from the 2006 cruise and my cruise in september. I need July 13th to get here so I can be on the ship(I don't know how to what to do I love cruises). Then I'll start planning for the big trip after that, Febuary 28th, 2009.

At least I get to go to Disney the day after my birthday in March, last year I was in disney in for my birthday, this year I go the day after werid

Hi Bev ! What are the odds of us booking the same cruise date? I am soooo excited. I am going on the repo cruise and will re-book this cruise then. After the repo I will have more time to post on the 09 thread. It will be so much fun sailing with your family again.:goodvibes

Congrates BEV,

We now have 3 cruises for 09 covered by the Aug double dip cruise.

Hi Ed ! Long time no post eh? It would be great if all the crusin castaway's did this cruise. Wasn't there talk long ago about a reunion cruise in 09? I look forward to seeing everyone again in 09 and even some of you on the repo this Aug.

I have no doubt that some day the stars will align and we will all cruise the same week again. In the meantime us Cruisin Castaways are just spreading our pixie dust on the Magic throughout the month of August 2009.

Maybe when the new ships arrive we'll be able to pick a week that works for all of us. After 2009 we'll be more flexible on itineraries.

Finally got a nickname for my August 22, 2009 cruise - The Red Hot Chilli Cruisers (hopefully that won't be the color of our bodies after being in Grand Caymen and Cozumel :scared: ).

So you Tortola Treasure Seekers will be followed by us Red Hot Chilli Cruisers.

How about those Giants. :worship: I am so glad I don't bet on sports games. Terrell Owens crying just makes the win even sweeter.

I loved the thread about the woman who's DH would rather watch the game on Sunday night then go to the formal dinner with the family.

Giants game was tight, good thing I'm not a die hard fan of them like I am with the NJ NETS, they have a game tonight, and my house is gonna be loud hopefully I don't put a whole in the wall like I almost did when they played boston :happytv: :happytv:

I guess you can tell I'm NOT a fan of the Cowboys or T.O. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I never would have guessed. ;)

BTW.....is that your cruise meet thread that keeps changing their slogan? I guess there are some Packers fans on that cruise?

(it will be an awesome game on Sunday and the kids have no school the next day :thumbsup2 )
