Fort Wilderness Halloween 2024 Videos (Many)

Have been at the Fort this week capturing all the activities related to Halloween 2024. First I will post their 2024 Halloween Golf Cart Parade which several of us DIS members were in attendance for.

I posted some highlight photos in the DISMeet thread but this is the whole video (14 minutes).

Second, I will post their video of Chip & Dale at the Fort (they did not take part in the Halloween Golf Cart Parade this year). They are playing Cops and Robbers this year instead. (2 minutes)

Third, the Headless Horseman paid a night time visit also. No movie in the nights leading up to Halloween as in years past but the Fort has a strong representative in the HH. (5 minutes not scary)

Finally, MouseSteps paid a visit to the Fort on Oct 23 and filmed campsite and Fort decorations. (7 minutes)

We really do owe a debt of gratitude to JWL MouseSteps for their Fort coverage this year. It perfectly encapsulates why guests love Fort Wilderness (even the ones not lucky enough to stay here).

PPS - serious question: do any other of the WDW resort guests do this? And who has strong Disney themes like the Headless Horseman, Chip & Dale, Musket Mickey, and golf cart parades 3 times a year? Fort Wilderness does, that's who.

First time at the Fort for Halloween, and I thought I thoroughly checked the activities calendar, but we didn't know about the Chip and Dale in costume or Headless Horseman My son's costume was even the Headless Horseman this Halloween. We had a lot of fun, but now I've got a bit of FOMO.

We were really impressed by the Golf Cart parade, pumpkin carvings, and elaborate campsite decorations. Way to go everyone!

Sorry we didn't get over to say hello before you left, Michelle. A Disney vacation is more go-go-go from one thing to another which is not our speed.

Not sure exactly what 'this' means.

The golf cart parade is the day before Halloween (Oct-30).

The Trick-or-Treating on Oct-31 is BY campers FOR campers.

There are a few other ancillary Halloween activities.

Campers do decorate their campsites with Halloween themes in October and of course they are more numerous the closer you get to Oct-31. You don't have to be there at Halloween to see GREAT decorations but you see more the closer you get.

Here is the H-related activities calendar from 2024 from magicalresortguide.com to use as a guide for 2025 activities. Of course there is no guarantee one year will be the same as the previous.



The Fort is a wonderful resort unlike the others. Hope you enjoy it and Roll Tide!

PS - because of the wonderful activities, decorations, and weather, Halloween time is probably the 2nd fastest FW time to book up after Christmas-New Years week.
