How wonderful that my 1,000 post goes on this thread with some wonderful people. Although compared to many of you, I'm still a toddler.:lmao:

Andy.... I'll have to keep my eye open for new material. ;)

Brrr....it is cold here. Stay warm all.:cloud9:

I came home from work and crashed into my lazyboy, wrapped the heating pad around my feet and the next thing I knew it was 90 minutes later. This :cold: air was actually burning my lungs as I was walking around reading meters today.

Hi everyone! :wave2:

I must not be getting all of the email notifications because I didn't realize that this thread has been active for the last week or so! :confused3

Anyway, CONGRATS Shirley on 1000 posts!!! :cheer2:  :woohoo:

I have no idea what we're doing in 2009 yet! In fact, I'm not sure about our May 2008 Disney World trip because the aunt that is supposed to be coming with us just had eye surgery and is having complications from it, and she may need additional surgery. :( We'll have to just wait and see how she progresses. I'd hate for her to have to cancel, but at the very least we may need to postpone it until we know she'll be in good shape for the trip. She's in a lot of pain right now and her vision is extremely decreased :( It's still possible that she'll be OK for May, but if not then maybe we'll reschedule for late summer or the fall. I'm glad I didn't buy my airfare yet, but I'm getting to the point where I'll want to buy it soon if we're going in May.

I'd love to cruise DCL again in August 2009, especially with some old friends. I'll keep everyone posted. It's great to know that so many of you are also planning to cruise then. :)

 Terry,

The DIS e-mail notifications have been down since the new server took over last Friday until just this morning it started working again. :thumbsup2

You know I'm a winter weather fan but this abrupt change in the temps had me chilled to the bone.

I was outside chatting with my UPS driver and my feet hurt from standing on the cold ground. I can't imagine being outside all day.

I can tell you this much Kay, it isn't much fun at all..........:sad2:

I'm sitting here wrapped up in my blanket, watching the Orange Bowl, sipping a cup of hot chocolate............:goodvibes

Terry......my email notifications just started again a few hours ago.

Andy.....thanks for reminding to turn on the bowl game. I missed the WVU game last night as I had a Girl Scout leader meeting

We're going through gallons of hot chocolate in our house.

I will have to tape the Rutgers football game on Saturday as we'll be skiing.

I watched the first half of the WV/OU game last night, went to bed during halftime. Most likely will do the same tonight, especially since KU is up 17-0 over VT, late in the 2nd quarter............:guilty:

So, I decided to stay up a little longer, VT is making a comeback, only down 17-14, early in the 3rd quarter..........not sure when I will go to bed now............

It's shapping up like this one

Happy New Year all

hey everyone, how are all of you.

I've been pretty busy with work and stuff. I've been planning my trip to Disney World in March, going with my dad for work, but we will also go to the parks and then head over to universal one night. Also been getting ready to go to Disneyland and Disney Cruise in July we booked the flights already so, we will be going to LAX on July 11th and coming back July 20th

Hi Julia,

Sounds like you have some exciting plans for 2008.

We probably won't be doing much this year. Getting ready for Angelina to graduate high school, then she wants to start Massage Therapy School in September. This year is going to be expensive enough without planning any trips......... Oh yea, I nearly forgot, Angelina will be going to Chicago for five days, in May, with the high school band and choir.

We are going to one of the DCL House Parties on 1/26/08 though.........:goodvibes

yeah I do have some exciting plans for 2008. And we just started yesterday and are redoing the whole hardware store so that should make day's more busy.

The Aug 22nd cruise has a meet thread going, though nowhere near as active as the Aug 15th thread. We're still trying to come up with a slogan.

I think you guys on the 8/15 Tortola cruise will set a record for most posts by a non-repo cruise.

I hope DCL keeps Tortola as a future port.

Hi Julia,

Andy - can you post and tell us how that goes? It sounds like a lot of fun.

Great football weekend in NJ - the Rutgers game was fantastic and the Giants were a pleasant surprise. Glad I don't bet money on football games. Eli played a great game.

it really was a great weekend for football, Giants won, I'm so happy and nets are starting the win that makes me happier :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I was a bit worried during the first quarter of the Giants game yesterday, but once they got cookin' look out Bucs...............;) ;) ;)

I watched the Rutgers game as well, that was some game!!!

I have been in contact quite a bit with the host of our DCL House Party, and these people are going all out, I will report back and let everyone know how it went. Even Angelina asked if she could go with us!!! :goodvibes
