I had Hazel take a couple pics of me after I arrived home from the gym on Saturday. As of Saturday I am now down 36 pounds, and it is time for me to start getting myself ready to head out the door this morning and head over to the gym for my morning workout. Just thought I'd share this pics with y'all.....

Wow on the weight loss - that is amazing to lose that much weight in such a short period of time. You look terrific and that is saying a lot because sometimes when people lose that amount of weight in a short period of time they actually don't look very healthy. You look healthy as well.

I know what you mean about the benefits of eating better. My health took a terrible turn for the worse after I had my foot surgery this summer. The post op was much harder than I thought. Then I talked to someone about changing my eating habits and saw an immediate improvement (not to mention weight loss). Its a lifestyle change for me in how I eat.

It just goes to show that you can change your weight/physique no matter what age you are.

I hope everyone has a very merry Christmas and all the best for 2009. Its 35 degrees and rain here on Christmas Eve. Ugh.

Hi Everyone,

I didn't see this additional thread. Nice to read some notes from some old cruise friends. Andy you look terrific!! Keep up the good work. Ed, I wish we could go on the Tortola cruise with all of you in Aug. On Aug. 15th there are soccer try outs for my DD (Allison)who will start high school in the fall. Yikes! She better make the team. If it wasn't for that, we would be there with you.

Since DH (Ron) and DS (Alex) will be going to New Mexico for a brutal two week scout trip, Alli and I were to take a mother-daughter cruise. We decided to do Tortola in Jluy. Got a good deal through AAA. Ron can't get off three weeks in a row and no other time would work, he will have to stay home. I decided I couldn't live without my DS for 3 weeks, so he will now be joining us. Actually, he is all I wanted for Christmas this year since I didn't budget for him. I told Ron I'd return anything else extra since this was all I really wanted. I thought that would be enough. So Alex will come home around midnight on a Monday and fly out with us on Friday to spend the day/night at the Beach Club then head to the cruise.

Anyway, I wish all of you a wonderful year. Take care.

Hi Shirley--it was great hearing from you, Hazel and I were just talking about you the other night.......someone was asking us about our Mickey pillowcases and we told them the "sweetest lady" from one of our cruises made them for us.........

Time for me to get ready to head to the gym for my morning workout, I'm trying to get to the 40 pound mark so I can change my siggie again!!!

So, I've started packing for my b2b cruise on the Disney Magic, we are heading down to Orlando on Febuary 20th and boarding the Magic on the 21st. the cruises will be going to

Port(we check in for second cruise and board the ship again)

St. Croix
St. Thomas
Sea Day

get off ship and be really sad

???? Do you remember who handled the private brunch on our cruise? Was is Mary Rose ?
