In a "short" 7 Days,
we will be sailing away!!!

I'm up already this morning and have the first load of laundry in the washer. Later I've got to cut the lawn (after the sun comes up and the neighbors wake up), then get the bills ready for mailing (something I really enjoy doing, NOT!!!).

Only three more work days for me, then my vacation will officially start!!!

Andrew, so sorry to hear about your long delay, I trust all goes well for you and your family!!!

My family, will also be joining Joyce's family, on the 10am shuttle from the Radisson, one week from today!!!

How come you didn't post your picture on the "Pirate Pictures" thread? You guys have such a great picture. We can't all have the $$$$$$ Jack Sparrow costume I know, but you were inspitation for us when we were putting together our "dining attire" for the Pirates in the Caribbean night.

Also - anyone who needs a little something and didn't have time to pack, let me know as I plan on bringing some extra pirate gear for Pirates night (Wed?). My stateroom number is listed, but I am in 6030.

ANDY I have to read you pm.. I spent the evening in the ER with my mom..so I just called her to see how she is.. she too didnt sleep all night.. and today is her 70th BDAY.. We were suppose to celebrate it on the ship.. but she had surgery that kept her from working and the funds were low... MARY ROSE 'S bank wouldnt advance us the money either.,..lol Maybe next time..

I have to take Dd to work for an 1.5 mtg.. come home go to PO take DD back to work.. do a show at 230... and watch 2 gorgeous Choc Labs this weekend.. Pick DD up at 1015 pm.. and go back to dogs house by 5 am.. and do all over again. Some tiem inthis 24 hrs go see my mom and celebrate her BDAY as well...

Ok I need to get some pkgs ready for ANDY.. Daniel had me pictureing the TSA agents opening all the bubble bottles one by one or making me taste them.. so YES, Andy if I may send them to your mom.. and then if you can bring them to dinner on FRIDAY that would be wonderful.. also, it saves room from not taking 100 little bottles with me,,,heheh

Well I had planned on sleeping IN this morning but I woke up at exactly 5:55am! LOL After switching through the channels on tv, I realized there was nothing worth watching on, so I got out of bed. I'M TOO EXCITED TO SLEEP!!!!

Andrew, Moira, Ed, Denise, and anyone else leaving within the next day or two: SAFE TRAVELS to all of you! I hope the security lines won't be too bad, or the flight delays too extended. Just keep thinking about the cruise at the end of the travel rainbow. (ok, that was corny, but you know what I mean ). Can't wait to see you all in a week!!

Andy: I'm all set to call Shirley, but it might be a little too early! LOL

I'm at the point now where I could just SCREAM with excitement every time I think about this vacation and how close we are now!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For some reason an old "I Love Lucy" episode comes to mind... the one where she's doing the commercial for Vitavetavegamin...and she has to keep tasting it over and over and saying "Mmmm..tastes just like candy!" even though it tasted bad. Doreen, I could just picture you tasting the bottles of bubbles and saying that!!

I must say it was very very well organised everyone at this airport knoew about the new rules theey have taken on extra staff handing out clear bags for your ticketss and small carry ons, even the shops know the rules asking for a drink and newspaper in a shop airside, they asked if we are going on a flight to USA and then said you will not be able to take past gate do you want it, we confirmed we knew the rules and as our flight was dealyed we would use them beofre travel. Saftey first, sales second!

There was a lot more security and checking but it was fast and so organised, leaflets printed are handed ut as soon as you arrive.

Driving in you can see the extra security, I will not post here, but its impressive.

It appears the problem is knock on, our Flights were hit the worse on Thursday and have fallen behind each day so now seven hours behind.

I finally remembered to upload the picture of Joyce (famof8) and her DS Nathan, and my DSs Craig and Robby, and myself from our lunch meet in June! It's not the best picture; we had the cashier inside the restaurant snap only 1 picture of us, and here it is... (notice both of the moms wore lime green. LOL):

Oh TERRY... I remember that epeisode so well.. Trust me I will not be tasting those bubbles for anyoen GOT IT!!..lol
But can you imagine if they saw them,, some wise TSA agent would probably wonder about them, even if they were in the luggage with all the otehr DCL stuff and make me taste them all or toss them all..YUKKIEE
