I would Terry, but I was just getting ready to sign off when I saw Elaine's post, I sent a PM to Doreen, now I'm off to see the sandman, nighty night!!!

Have a good night's sleep, Andy!! :cloud9:

Hey Andy......I got a good chuckle out of my last post too. :lmao: This is what happens when you cross a person who is quasi dyslexic with someone who can't type. You can only imagine the combinations over the years. :rotfl2: My DS especially loves the new words. Since he is also quasi dyslexic it makes him feel more at ease to make up new words too.

TTFN,
Shirley

So, I bought all my toiletries tonight and packed my big suitcase, and have to use the smaller one. I know I am overpacking, but being a virgin sailor, I'm not sure and don't want to forget anything necessary. :goodvibes :wave2: :surfweb:

I think it's time to call it a day. It has been a heckuva week. But tomorrow is another day.

God speed all travelers and see you in 1 week.

Elaine :cool1:  :wave2:

Well, We leave tomorrow for St. Pete Beach and we get back on the 19th. We are taking our laptop, but just in case I don't get a chance to get online I want to wish all my "LOST AT SEA" buddies and everyone else here on this thread who I would have come to know if I was sailing with you all a VERY SAFE SAILING and may you all have the BEST time of your life. ENJOY and I'll be thinking about you all. If you are lucky enough to be stuck at sea AGAIN, from experience, relax and enjoy it. When you get home you get home.

Love ya all
Joanna

Terry - of course we want you to handle the thread. We wouldn't want to be responsible for you being out of a job. How do you feel after two full weeks of running your own dept? Hope it went well.

Best wishes for all who are starting their travels!

Linda

Hi all and good night to several!

I just looked at the clock and realized that exactly one week from right now, my family and I will be all comfy in our hotel room beds and so completely excited about the following day that we won't be able to sleep a wink!

If only time could fly a little faster, because the excitement is going to get me! :bounce:  :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :woohoo: :p

We're hoping to get to the port around 10:00. Who else is planning to get there around then?

Night all!
Kris

Well, The dishes are done, kitchen is clean, recycling in back of trunk for dump run in morning, and YES the packing is done!!!!!

We hope to be on the road around 10 am tomorrow.

I am bringing the laptop so I hope to be posting from the road.

Terry yes lets keep this thread going until we know what the plans for 2008 are.

Good night all.

Happy weekend all!

Hi everyone... ahh... it's Friday night!!! :teeth:

We'll be at the NJ shore this weekend, bringing DS15 back on Sunday night. We'll be leaving around noon tomorrow.

Have a great time at the shore this weekend! :sunny: Today the weather was perfect! and be sure to look up tomorrow night, its the perseids meteor shower. My dd and I were outside tonight and already saw some shooting stars.

Terry - I am right there with you on the a 08/??/08 date, keep this thread alive. I think we need to see what the itineraries are going to be for the 16th and the 23rd and decided then.

We actually would prefer Alaska, but let's not get crazy. We haven't done an eastern since '03 that would be great although the Wonder September Southern sounds like fun too.

You know the funny thing about dates and itineraries always leads me back to the same statement.

I don't care, as long as I am on the Magic. :goodvibes

Ed & Moira - Just in case, I don't want to miss wishing you a bon voyage...till me meet again!

Andy - That was Doreen about shipping bubbles to your Mom's.

Moira - Dare I ask, what's a John in your typical saying??? Over here a John is the bathroom or it's a customer of a lady of the evening. What's it in Ireland?

MR

Hahahaha!

It's also both of the above but it is the most common name and every second person is John(or Sean, it's Irish version)! So it turns into.. "How's your John? Mine's fine and keeping well... And your John?"

That's all! Actually, when I typed it it wasn't so funny.. last night I got a great laugh... oh well, guess I think I'm funny but not... That's a shock to the funny bone...

Mary Rose and other potential 2008 Cruisers:

I think I have a good idea.. :scratchin

Since the dates and itineraries aren't released yet, and won't be by the time we cruise next week, there's no way to know which week in August 2008 we might choose. Some of us are hoping to book an eastern itinerary, some want western, some of us want or need a specific week regardless of the itinerary, and some of us just aren't sure yet if we'll even be cruising in 2008 or not... SO! My idea is... Let's continue this thread on after our cruise next week, and just change the title to something like "August 2008" or something similar, like the June Double Dippers did with their thread, and then once the dates and itineraries come out, we can branch off into separate threads. How does that sound? :confused3

Also, I hope I didn't sound pushy or assuming when I said I wanted to be the one to start the new thread!!! Anyone can start the new thread, and keep up with the cruisers list; I don't want to be pushy and just assume that you all would want me to do it again.

Sounds like a great plan Terry and yes, you are so pushy (NOT!) :joker:

Jeff, you are so right.. this is addictive! I don't want to leave this thread now!

But I must! So this is it... our last until we return to Ireland..

So a simple Slán (goodbye) to you all until we meet on the Magic..

Moira, John and Caoimhe

Moira-- :sunny:

Dont' know if you will check in one more time but here's wishing you and your family a very safe and quick journey!!! :goodvibes

We are very much looking forward to meeting you and your family in just 4 short days!!

The three girls are all close in age so this should be fun for them! See you on the Wishes boat!!

Take Care!! :sunny:

Kristi

ANDY---- All I can say is Wow and you are truly such a special person!! :sunny:  :cheer2:

Imagine Kelsey's surprise and mine as well, when I sent her to get the mail and she said that there was a card from Tinkerbell!!! :Pinkbounc And Tinkerbell even knew that today is officially her 9th birthday---what a great and awesome birthday note it was for Kelsey!! And that you remembered that Tink was her favorite!! ;) You are truly a blessing and the timing of your card could'nt have been better :goodvibes We can't say Thank you enough Andy---it really is the little things in life that mean so much and you really made her day!! :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

As I'm typing this I am finishing up the guys shirts---nothing like last minute  --as we leave tomorrow. They are turning out fine and I hope ours look as good as the ones you did yourself for everyone else. Thanks again for all your help.

Kelsey will officially be 9 at 8:28pm today!! :sunny: I can't believe kids grow up this fast--where does the time go---just a few minutes ago I was holding her in my arms :guilty: We have a busy day planned with just a small celebration with a few presents from her dad and I and MaMa and PaPa. Around all of this I have to fit in a last run to pick up some things----finish up the laundry and get everything around the house in order and find a way to get all of this stuff I had never planned on putting in the luggage to fit

I think I am finially getting excited now as I can see an end to my list just around the corner----seems though as if every time I cross off something I end up adding something I forgot about :sad2:

Safe travels to everyone in these next few days and of course to all of you after us!! :sunny: Better get these shirts finished---See you later

Kristi
