TGIF!!!!! :cool1: That phrase has new meaning to me now, since I started working. :surfweb:

This weekend I'll be getting the suitcases out of the attic (well, I won't be literally getting them out of the attic, Craig or John will do that! lol), and start packing! Next weekend we'll be at the Jersey Shore, so I want to get started packing this weekend, and making sure I have all of our paperwork in order too. In addition to our cruise documents I have to remember to pack our Disney World annual passes, our Disney Dining Experience card, etc. because we'll be at WDW right after the cruise. I still haven't told Craig or Robby that I changed our regular Polynesian reservation to a lagoon view concierge room! They'll be surprised :smooth:

Time to get ready for work...I'll be back in a few hours, during break time! :surfweb:

Doreen: I heard those birds like to sing alot. :rolleyes1 We sure did get alot of rain but where is the cool down ? :confused3

Terry - you being the Poly expert!! May I ask a question?

Now that everything is paid for I am sorely tempted to change our standard garden view to Magic Kingdowm view.. and on top of that did think about concierge (might as well be hung for a sheep as a lamb!!) but because I have the dining option (Magic Your Way plus dining), what extra benefits would concierge be worth to me? Should I just go for Magic Kingdom view? We are only eating in the Poly one night.. the rest of the time are shows, etc....

Thank you! :teeth:

Doreen... I will cry like a baby if I am scared! Then I will drink a lot and cry some more!! :dance3:

Castaway Club -- it means you're a repeat cruiser. You get something nice in your stateroom and get invited to a rather nice reception.

Whew.. I'm glad they came! Otherwise we might have been sitting at an empty table talking to ourselves!! :rotfl2: :lmao:

No worries - we would have shown up at the port anyway and snuck in if we had to ... :goodvibes ... which would have led to some realllllllly interesting dinner conversation!

Terry: the check is in the mail :rotfl2:

Jeff: I think I've passed that house a few times on the way to the beach, :beach: I love the porch. the other day i watched them putting up a modular on Fort Ave., I dropped one of my DD off at the beach around 9:30 and they were dropping the first floor and on my way back from dropping off the other DD at 11:30 they had they 2nd floor on. Pretty Amazing!

Ski and Sea; I agree even the beach was hot yesterday with the west wind blowing it always brings the heat and the flies. We stayed in the water most of he day. If you think the water was cold you should have been here in July when the water was 55 degrees most days.Where at the shore are you?

14 days and counting :cool1:

Denise

YEA!!!! Two weeks from right now, we will be on the plane waiting to leave for Orlando. :cheer2:

I need a little help: last night when I was reading the 30 odd pages of messages I missed during my little jaunt to Toledo, I sort of recall somebody posting a link about navigators from one of the double dips that people with aging eyes could actually read. I just can't remember where in those thirty pages that post was. So, if you posted it, or you can remember where it was, I'd really appreciate the heads up.
:confused3

Several checks arrived yesterday.... Diane (AllShookUp), I LOVED the lime green stationary!! :thumbsup2 And a lot of the envelopes were decorated with Disney stickers...very nice! I've never gotten such fun mail. :teeth:

Moira: I'll reply to your Polynesian question in more detail later when I get home, but I have a question for you: How many nights are you going to be there? We stayed at the Polynesian in a lagoon/concierge room last fall and also had the Disney Dining Plan. It was a TON of food, however we didn't feel it was overkill to have the DDP AND concierge. We had breakfast each morning in the concierge lounge (continental breakfast, but very, very nice selections), then had our sit-down meal for dinner, and the counter service meal for lunch. In the evenings in the concierge lounge, we tried the hot food offerings an hour or so before our scheduled dinner times, it made a nice appetizer of sorts :) I think a lot depends on how late/early you plan on having dinner. Now, having said all that, I have to agree with the way of thinking that concierge is not really meant to be a meal plan anyway, and there's a lot more to concierge than just the food offerings. Many, many people don't see a need for concierge and will never pay extra for it. We happen to love concierge, especially at the Polynesian, for these reasons: We already know in advance which longhouse we'll be in; the Hawaii building, which is the Most convenient longhouse at the resort. The lounge itself is wonderful, it's 2-stories high and has floor-to-ceiling glass walls which face the Magic Kingdom and castle. If you arrive early to the resort (before check-in) and/or will be staying later on your last day, you have access to the lounge and all of its offerings from the moment you step foot onto the resort until the moment you leave. We find this extremely convenient for us, and is a big factor for why we choose concierge when we travel with our sons. Ok, so this isn't quite a short reply... but I'll finish it later on! :lmao:

Jeff: Gorgeous house, I know the area :sunny: I also grew up spending my summers there, and still visit there every summer.

Bev: CONGRATULATIONS! Wow, that is great!! :woohoo: And I thought I was happy knowing I was going back on a Disney cruise in February!!! :teeth:

Ed: You poor thing! I've never had poison ivy in my entire life. I hope you get some relief soon!

Tina: I know what you mean! I told John the other day that in another couple of weeks I'll be losing my job of posting the weekly countdown! LOL Then he reminded me that we'll be going on another Disney cruise in February, but the countdowns just won't be the same without the Cruising Castaways!! :grouphug:
