which brings about the shoe thing, Tina, that is the hardest thing for me to pack, How can you have the wrong shoes? It just doesn't work!! and DD(14) isn't any help.

We got the storm last night too! Actually, DD Nikki and I were at Toms River Fest,which is a festival run by the school system I work in and we volunteer to work at. we were watching Gloria Gaynor when they ended the show abruptly because the storm was approaching. So we never got to hear " I will survive"

As far as the sea sickness goes,DH uses the patches behind the ears and I get a script from the MD for meclazine,just in case.

My mouth is drooling for that Steak and Lobster at Serentity Bay, we ususally just stay at the Family Beach but I think the Lobster is calling my name



I see 10.000 post in our future.

I went to wal-mart this morning and found the cordless smoothie maker, it runs on d batteries, I don't want to pack many extra batteries because of the weight, so i hope they sell them onboard. 3 weeks to go, YEAH!

Hello There Bob, welcome to the Cruisin' Castaways and to the DIS!!!


Came home for lunch to a nice and toasty 90* house. Our central air broke down about 10pm last evening. Tina, you will get a kick out of this, our service man will be here between 1 and 5 this afternoon to repair our unit.

I told Hazel and Angelina to spend the morning at the mall, they are "Back to School" clothes shopping today. Eeeeeeeeeeeeek!!! At least they are able to keep cool for a little while, as they have to be back home by 12:30 and sit in this heat until the repairman arrives. I told them if they get to hot, to go sit in the car with the air on.

Darlene, those storms were wicked last night, they kept waking me up, and I can usually sleep through anything. More severe storms are predicted tonight as well. Looks like we'll be eating out tonight!!!

That's most likely where we'll be headed as long as the repairman gets the air back on by the time I get home from work. I know it's going to take several hours for the house to cool down once the air is up and running again.

HEELEYS! Those fun sneakers with the wheels in the heels. She changed surfaces from the rough outside pavement to my mom's smoother basement floor and didn't adjust for the difference. She fell and "broke" her fall with her arm. I knew it as soon as I saw it and she was all cold and clammy and nauseous.

Of course, I wanted her to select a color for her cast that coordinated with her outfits. I am such a MOM. Since it is her arm, I gave her total control over the choice. I guess I'm not so bad.

I think my husband will officially freak out now! So much to do, so little time!

LOL, I take the day before we leave off for all those last minutes items.
Sat the 12th all I need to do is put the suitcases in the trunk and off we go.

But on Aug 11th I will be a wreck with all the items I need to do.
