Welcome to all the other new people on this thread! I keep meaning to say hello but then I forget who I welcomed already!

Terry,

You have done a great job pulling all the details together.... now concentrate on your new job and enjoying your time in the run up to the cruise!

Glad to hear the job is going well!

I don't know, I think we might just make it to 10,000 at the way everybody has been posting. It took me two nights to get through the weekends posts.

The wedding was beautiful and the 13th birthday party was fun. I got to see some family members that I haven't seen in a few years. I am so tired though, I could barely function today.

Tina - I am glad that the party went well and I hope that things continue to go as well as can be at a time like this.

Welcome to all our new cruisers.

I got so excited today, I looked at the mail real quick and saw something from Disney. I was so excited until I looked closer and realized that is was a Disney store ad. I have to get it together though. I haven't even filled out my forms online yet. I think I need to start splitting up some of my posts if we are going to make it to 10,000.

Good night to all.
Linda

Hi Linda

My Mom is thinking about joining us (in her own cabin). I don't mind having her aboard, but we don't want to spend all our time with her, any suggestions?

Hmmm there is always a need for babysitters for the Flounder generation. ;)

I don't know how you have made it this far, but I'll raise a smoothie glass in your honor! 9 years? Wow!

I was just reading a thread that some on the 8-5-06 cruisers started receiving their docs about a week ago, so we shouldn't be too far behind now in receiving our docs!!! :cool1:

Edited to add: I was just looking at the 8-12-06 cruise meets thread, and some of those cruisers have started receiving their docs as well!!!!! :thumbsup2

Welcome Molly!

With a son named Sean and shamrock mentioned, there has to be an Irish connection??!!

With a name like O'Regan and 3 visits to Ireland, I sure hope so! But alas, it's my husbands and childrens heritage, I was born in Israel and immigrated to the US when I was 3.

I've looked over ALOT of the prior postings, and most of you seam to know each other, are you related or did you meet on previous cruises? My Mom is thinking about joining us (in her own cabin). I don't mind having her aboard, but we don't want to spend all our time with her, any suggestions?

Hi Molly,
Yes, alot of these folks already cruised together two years ago, and yes, several of these folks are related. And many of us booked when the rates came out two years ago, so hence you have a chatty group of friends up to 8400 posts! :joker:

My parents are sailing with us as well. We do pretty well travelling together b/c it's ok for people to do their own thing. Nothing is worse than travelling w/ a large group where you stand around saying "well what would you like to do now" and no one wants to hurt anyone's feelings, etc. Generally, I let my fellow travellers know the things I and/or my family are interested in and let them know they are welcome to join in. We also build in together time.

Consider printing off some recent navigators (for Western Double Dip) and have fun going over it w/ your mom. Find out things she is interested in doing by herself, with the grands, with you. :sunny:

Good luck!

I knew when I got up this morning we would be over 8400.

Some of you are early risers and chatters, Me I sleep in a little, still to work by eight, but dont manage to go on until a little later :rotfl:

Nice thing since I support the Internet operation here, I can log on during the day :surfweb: , while I deal with the problems of the day :badpc:

Catch you later

I'm sorry but that should really be your tag line! :lmao: It just sounded so funny to me, but it is so true! I told my DH that my DS is getting one or two pairs of khaki pants for dinner & he can change right into shorts to head to the lab. I swear all I ever wore during the day was my bathing suit & a cover-up. Lie by pool, go play bingo, lie by the pool, go play trivia, lie by the pool....that about sums up my sea days! With a fru-fru drink in hand of course. Can you all tell I'm a lush??? :dance3: LOL! Just kiddin'....NOT!

HaHa....that should be my tag line. This is what happens when you post a reply when you are in a rush to get out the door.

That about sums up my sea days, too. That's why we cruise!!!!! :thumbsup2

Wow Molly.....those are some interesting vacations. What didn't you like about Japan Disney? Just curious.

Shirley

We took my Mom with us last summer on the 4-day Wonder and really only saw her at dinner. She went to the spa and picked out activities from the Navigator that she wanted to do.

She did enjoy spending time on our verandah.

She stayed on the ship when we were in Nassau doing an excursion.

So, no, it wasn't a problem having my Mom with us at all.

I'm beginning to think we might hit 10,000 posts after all.
