I've been keeping busy this morning by printing out our thank you cards for our serving team, room host/hostess, and for any other CM that might do that extra special little something to help make this cruise so special.

A little "thank you" can go a long way, especially for the CM's who work so hard, to make our cruises, so enjoyable!!!

Looks like so far it might be sunny today (i hope). I'm invited to a "singles" bbq today. I don't know if I'm going or not. Sometimes it's just easier not to. Besides, I might have to go shopping for our cruise.

Is there any young girl teens that are going on the "wild Side" for teens on Castaway Cay sunday?? ihave my DD (13) sign up for it but she not sure she wants to go because none of her "friends" are going and does not want to go without knowing someone.

Just curious if anyone sign up for it here.

Hi All,

I just received a call from my brother Rob. He is at the Philadelphia Airport getting ready to board his first flight to New York, NY. Once there, he will then board his 10 hour flight to Moscow, Russia.

Rob said that he has to give a 45 minute speech on Monday evening in Moscow, this will be his first of 12 appearnces as Ben Franklin over the next 7 days. Rob will be returning home next Sunday evening. Please keep Rob in your thoughts and prayers, as he will be traveling through some troubled areas this coming week. Also, remember his wife and son who will be home waiting for his safe return.


Mel, I checked with Angelina and she said she isn't signing up for the "wild side" either.

Hi Everyone,

Been a busy day here setting up 4 different suitcases and putting in clothes and items I want to bring and then finally settling on one maybe two suitcases to bring. I am staying at the Pop Century the week after the cruise so I have to pack sensibly.

I hope everyone is having a great Sunday.

Lyn - it was nice to see you post, I think of you quite often and I am going to miss you this trip!!

4 weeks from now we will be at CC soaking up all the sun after going on our parasailing adventure and looking forward to having a couple of cocktails along the way!!

Catherine who will be 14 in November is signed up. She seems interested and will most likely go. I think she is in the same situation that you DD is in that she won't have any friends traveling with her either.

I already mentioned this to Andy via email, but just to let eveyone know...we have family meeting us at Cocoa Beach so we will not be staying at the Radisson after all. My sister wants to stay at the Holiday Inn which has a kiddie area for my great niece. We also won't be going to Grills for the meet, since we will probably just hang at the hotel & eat at their little grill down by the beach. Sorry for all the changes I keep making! I guess we will have to wait to meet everyone when we get on board. Save me a smoothie!!!

SInce we will be on the road for 3 weeks, trying to make the 2 suitcase limit per person will be a reach. Plus a carry on per person.

That may still put us one or two short.

I should be fine, but the other two in the family are already wondering.

I hope the travel space bags arrive soon I ordered.

We did that during our last cruise, the funny thing is, the same suitcase also went home empty, LOL!!! Luckily, it lays flat and fit inside of one of our larger suitcases.

You are so right about that. This year I am not bringing snorkeling stuff, those fins take up a lot of room! Everything electronic has a charger, which takes up more room/weight too!

We usually take one suitcase that is empty or pretty close to it. I've gone on other trips and packed with little to no free room and that was more of a pain to pack for returning home than taking the extra suitcase.

Ed........I agree with you, it's not the clothes, it is all that other stuff, especially the "just in case stuff."

I can't even think about packing yet. We still have three weeks of summer camps to live through, and getting all the stuff for school. We will have one day between coming home and school starting. They need to be ready to walk out the door before we leave for WDW.
