Calling All 8/19/06 Special Western Cruisers! AKA "The Cruisin' Castaways" Part 2

Haven't been lurking too much, just checking in now and then for a while. Now that we have told our boys I thought I would come out of hiding and introduce myself. Until we told them there was always a chance that we might end up cancelling the cruise and I didn't want to join in all of your fun if I was going to have to miss out on it.

There will be 4 of us me, DH, DS (8) and DS (4). We live in MA. The boys are very excited. We took them on Royal Caribbean last year to see if they would like cruising (which they did) knowing that they would love going on the Magic. DH & DS (8) are signed up for Dave & Ivan's tour in Costa Maya. Not sure what we are doing in Cozumel. Might just stay on the ship and enjoy the empty pools.

That's it in a nutshell. Sounds like you are a very fun & friendly group.

Susan..........I'm dying about the heat coming this week too. It's too hot to go to the pool.

Elyse........... maybe someone else will chime in, but unlike RCCL, I don't think the pools closes while in port. Or you wouldn't be able to use them when you get onboard.

Andy - no one said raising children (especially girls) would be easy but you are a great dad. I'm sure Angelina was thrilled to see you and knows you're there for her with no questions asked. I hope she's doing better today. I've learned with my children to always be there and it is hard not asking questions, but I learned that they know they can depend on me and when they are ready to talk, they will. (Sometimes Lindsay has come in my room after midnight to talk and I'll always listen). I'm sure it'll get better as they really start dating.
