Tina: I am really looking forward to making some of our cruise reservations online

But I think that if any of us want to do an excursion together, we'd have to call up and give all of the names to one person, so they could make sure we all got on the same one. Last time, we booked the REAS package so that we could make the spa and Palo reservations in advance. Since we can now do that on our own, I'm not sure if I'll do the REAS package or not. We didn't drink the champagne until the last night of the cruise (and this was a 10 night cruise. lol) and I brought it to dinner on that last night just to drink it and get rid of it because I didn't want to take it home. In fact, I could've done without the entire "welcome basket", there was nothing of any particular use to me, in it. It was a nice touch, but not anything I'd pay for. The other great perk was being able to request a dining rotation in advance.
Since so many of us want to link our dining tables together, I wonder how that will work. Whoever us wants to link, we'll have to agree on a rotation.
Diane: I wish I was going to be in WDW with the rest of them too, in August, but we chose early July because we originally planned the trip for our anniversary, and it's on July 8th

I was only able to get the
AAA discount for the Wilderness Lodge part of our trip because there were no AAA discounts available for the Polynesian, so we're paying rack rate for the Polynesian lagoon concierge

LOL I had to laugh when you said that you plan your cruise around the food because we do the same thing, even with Disney World. lol For our trip in July I FIRST decided where we were going to stay, THEN I chose the restaurants, and then fitted the parks in around our meals

DH doesn't like counter service, and since it'll be very hot and crowded, and he's diabetic, I chose all sit-down restaurants so that we'll be guaranteed a table in air conditioning, where we can sit and relax. I also plan on heading back to the resort after lunch for a swim and/or nap, each day.
Hi lyn

Wow, that is excellent air fare! I already bought our airfare for the July trip, it cost $220 per person, on Song, but then the prices briefly went down a month ago so I got the vouchers for the difference. They had me on hold for so long that night because they screwed up something with Craig's ticket, they ended up sending me his price difference in the form of a check AND they sent me a HUGE gift basket for my trouble of being on the phone with them for so long. lol It was a huge wicker basket filled with 2 porcelain coffee cups, bags of flavored coffees, a couple of bags of gourmet cookies, and some coffee-flavored smoothie mix packets. lol I was quite surprised when it arrived, to say the least. lol
Andy: I'm glad you got a good deal on your airfare!!!!
