Just wanted to stop by and say hello, been real busy the past few days making door signs and t-shirts for our cruise. This time next Friday we will be waking up at our place in Florida!!!

One week from tomorrow we will be sailing away!!!

Questions for some of you!!!!

Doreen: I know you mentioned parasailing on Castaway Cay. I'd love to add this to the itinerary page, but you have to let me know which Castaway Cay day you plan on doing this.

DizzyWorld: Is your excursion with David and Ivan confirmed? If so, I will change the status on the itinerary page to reflect that

MaryRose: I've added you to the Palo dinner on Sunday night. I'm booking the private dining room, and with you and DH, now the room is full. It only holds 12-14 people, so you and DH make 13 and 14. We have a Palo brunch listing for Monday (at sea) in the private dining room, but that's full already. Would you like to be added to the Palo brunch for Thursday (2nd at sea day)?? Take a look at the Itinerary page, you'll see everything listed on there. Just let me know Also, you had mentioned a while back about wanting to do the Fury Catamaran excursion on Cozumel day (Wednesday). Doreen, her DH, and DSis Karen are doing that, and so are my DH and I. Not sure if our kids are going on that or not. Let me know if you want to be added to that as well.


Everyone: Please let me know if I've forgotten anything on the Itinerary page. I've been trying to keep up with the messages, but it's possible I've overlooked something.

Thanks, MaryRose! As you can see, I got a little carried away with the first post and our list of cruisers, adding color and whatnot. LOL LOL It was a cold winter, so it was fun to play around with the thread

Thanks so much for trusting me with your password so that I could maintain the list these last few months. Are you ready to take it back over now, or would you like me to continue with updating it??

I think my package is almost ready to be sent out!! I'm just giving it a little more thought, to see if I can think of anything else to put in there. LOL I hope my family likes what I'm sending... It's difficult to shop for a family, as opposed to just shopping for one person. I've gotten items for a particular member of this family, and realized that I've not really gotten anything, or much, for the rest of the family. But somehow I don't think they'll mind. At least, I hope not.

Ok, I'm going to stop here before I keep typing and give it away as to who my family is!!

Andy, It sounds like there is great excitment in your house at the moment... you lucky thing!

Terry, the amount of thought and effort you have put into the Cruise Exchange is visible. I for one would be delighted to receive from you... Have no fear! You are doing a briilliant job of keeping the excitment going too... I am now officially addicted to this board (whereas before it was only chocolate and Taytos!)

I bought the ebook of the Passprters Cruise tips, what a brilliant book! On page 21 at the moment and currently I have to go out and buy Ziploc bags (know what they are but not sure if I can get them here!) hooks, space bags and colourful luggage (or something to make them colourful!) I'm fasinated by the shoe holders (I have one in our bedroom but really don't have any love for it!), it sounds as if it has many uses!

Now that it's nearly 11pm here I think I'll call it a day... and I really hope that my family have received their cruise exchange. A friend of mine from Hungary rang today to say that a parcel I had sent to her three weeks ago had not arrived - and I hadn't put a trace on it (as they normally do arrive to her). Thankfully, there is a trace on the US one!

Fishing- First Castaway 9:15 to 1:00
Parasailing-Second stop at Castaway 10:30-11:30
Chaccohoben Mayan Ruins Through DCL 12:15-5:15

I was able to book Palo and spa with no problems and when I talked with DCL today I was told they don't get alot of dining requests so she doesn't see a problem with us getting APL at 8:00.

Terry - First, thanks for adding us to the Palo dinner. I'm thinking of changing to the late seating for dinner so maybe later you can tell me if I can link with you guys. Also, as far as the thread goes, you have been doing such a great job, and unless your sick of doing it, I think you should keep it. You're really detail-oriented and that's just what a big crowd like ours needs. With me working full time and running with two teenagers I cannot devote the proper time to it. But if you've had enough just say the word and I'll try and do my very best, but certainly not as good as you. Thanks for doing it all these months. You've become the "Jason" of this cruise!!!! My job has filtered the DIS on our work computer - they stink. Now for Palo's brunch definitely put us on the list for Thursday morning. Also, we'd like to do the Fury Catarmaran in Cozumel, but have to think about it because having these two extra teenagers along changes everything. I mean, I can ignore my own two and run off to an excursion, but I can't ignore other's kids now can I?LOL!!! (just kidding) So I'll let you know about that. I also have to make reservations at the Rad. hopefully they're not booked up yet.

We're about a half hour south of Boston. Are you working this weekend? There's a DIS meet happening in Boston tomorrow (Saturday, April 29th), at a restaurant called Fire & Ice, at 12 noon. DH and I are supposed to be going. Any chance you can make it??

Regarding excursions, I just copied this from the DCL web site:


Any changes and cancellations must be made up to 2 days prior to your vacation start date. After this time, all reservations are final and all tickets are non-refundable.

oops, just saw this now! (it's been that kind of 2006!) A DIS meet in Boston would've been a blast! I was actually home for all of 48 hours that weekend (I thought I should remind the kids who Mom is).

I lived in many places along MA's South Shore, from Quincy to Hyannis and in-between; it'll be fun getting to know you on the cruise!

Thanks too for the excursion info; we have some decisions to be made at our house, quickly! Meanwhile, its off to soccer, soccer, baseball, baseball, charitable event. Must be Saturday! Have a great weekend Everybody!

That stinks!!! Do you think they targeted you? Actually, that's a huge fear of mine; In my more active DIS times, I always imagined our MIS police come bursting into my office and hauling away my computer!

Good morning everyone!

Mary Rose: I don't mind doing the list at all, I enjoy it. My DSs are at the point now where they actually are less "work" for me because Craig has been driving for the last year and a half so between school, work, getting ready for college, his band practice, etc, he's not home much. Robby's very busy with school, his band, the gym, and his friends, too. He and his friends usually pick someone's house to sleep over every weekend, so even he isn't home much. My baby's are growing up! LOL I'm not really "sad", but I'm already starting to feel like I have an "empty nest" many days! That's not necessarily a bad thing because last year John and I started taking trips to Disney World on our own (neither of the boys want to go to Disney World with us anymore. ) in fact we'll be leaving in 5 days to go to WDW and the Animal Kingdom Lodge!

Ok, back to cruise talk!

Mary Rose: I put you and DH down for the Fury Catamaran, if you decide to not book it, I'll take you off the list. Just you and DH would be doing this excursion? Initially I thought everyone would be bringing their kids on this, so I told my DSs they HAD to go. But if nobody else will have their kids, then mine are off the hook. LOL

Regarding Palo for Thursday, I see that the list already has 13 people on it. The private dining room only holds up to 14 people, so I couldn't add you and DH Sorry, I must've miscounted when I mentioned it earlier. However, just because the private dining room is full doesn't mean that you can't book it for the main dining room, on any day you want. Another option is for you (or anyone else, really) to book the private dining room and started another group up, if you wanted to. I wouldn't mind going to Palo for brunch twice during the cruise. Or, one of us could just book a table in the main dining room for a small group of us. Since we're Castaway Club members, we can start booking Palo online as of Sunday, May 21. But the private dining room must be booked through a Group Specialist.

Tina: I've got all of your excursions listed as "Confirmed" now. Yay for you!! When you say that you booked Palo, you mean you've booked dinner for you and Chuck, right? I hope you have a nice romantice dinner together

Jen: We ended up missing the DIS meet because my DH was sick. We definitely live between Hyannis and Quincy. A bit closer to Quincy though. It takes us about an hour and 15 minutes to get down to Hyannis, and only a half hour or so to get to Boston. Have a good weekend, sounds like you'll be running a lot today!

Andy: I so tried to get that image smaller but with 3 hours of sleep I gave up ! Chuck set the alarm for 2:45 and he said he would get up with me........... Chuck got up and used the bathroom and wen't back to bed.

Terry: One of the reasons I called DCL was to ask if I should book Palo or should I wait because it's included with the romance package they told me to book it. It is our Romantic dinner together. I figure we would miss Master Chef night. Never had it before but I am strictly going by what people say about it...........they would skip it. I didn't book the brunch. I did however book my facial right before the brunch to look good for everyone. It's suppose to help reduce those fine lines and wrinkles you know. So I hope the brunch isn't before 11:00 because that's what I was going by.
