As Sue says above, the weather is awful here at the moment - it's the coldest July in the UK for 25 years apparently! Still, I just have to look at the temperature in Florida to remind myself that we will be there in two weeks' time.

Best wishes to all of you who are under the weather at the moment (sorry, they do say that we are obsessed with the weather in the UK! Guess I've just proved that )

Hey Barb, who is Liz and where are you meeting? At the Cape??

Sue: I envy you! I keep saying that I want to sell things on eBay but I just have not taken the plunge yet. I have never bought anything on eBay, either. I don't think I ever will buy anything, but I have many like-new DVD movies that I would like to sell.

Everyone: I know this is far in advance, but for those of you who are flying in the day before, what hotel are you thinking of staying at? I was thinking of staying on Disney property, or even trying the Hard Rock Hotel, but if a lot of you are going to stay at the Radisson the night before, I think we will too! It was great last year to meet some of our group at the Radisson, before getting onboard the Magic. (Can you tell my Disney World trip is over, and now all of my thoughts are turning to next year's cruise??? LOL)

Darlene: How are you and Sandy feeling? How is Stan feeling, now that his staples have been removed?? I hope you all are feeling good for the repo cruise

Andy: You know we will all be thinking about you on Monday as you undergo surgery. Can Hazel or Angelina update us that night, if at all possible? How long will you be in the hospital for??

Everyone else who hasn't been well: I hope you feel better soon!

I found out this afternoon that I have to be at the hospital at 8:30 Monday morning. This is going to be out-patient surgery, so I should be home late Monday afternoon, I'm guessing around 5 o'clock. I'll probably get Angelina to post a quick report as Hazel doesn't do well with the computer.

Morning Guys

Another wet and horrible day here in the UK, hope its better where you are.

Terry: Karen and I are flying in on the Thursday before and so far our plans are to stay at the Raddison for the 2 nights before the cruise. More for convience than anything, but also because I havent stayed there before and niether has Karen.Do you think if enough of us stayed there that we could get some sort of Discount?? We have had some great shopping advice from Shirley, so we are hoping to do that on the Friday. I dont think either of us have figured out where we are going yet after the cruise.

Tina: Now I was all excited to see the photo and all I can see is a little red cross, where are you lol???

Andy: Fingers and toes are still crossed for you for Monday, Good luck hope all go's well.

Right I am off to get the food shopping in, as Vicki is still quite poorly this morning, I need to go to the chemist and get her some meds as well.

Terry--we haven't made a final decision on where we are staying the night before the cruise, but most likely will be staying at the Radisson as well.

Sue--another fine morning here across the pond, at least so far anyway. Hope Vicki feels better soon, I'm getting ready to take Angelina to our local community center, here in town, so she can do her morning workout.

Terry we are still working on this years vacation , havent thought were we will be the night before.
It will all depend if we slip in a few days at WDW before.

Well were off to see the doctor this morning,

Caitlin woke up this morning and indicated her ear hurts and throat is soar, so we off to see her doctor.

Hi everyone,

Sorry for venting the other night, I'm kind of embarrassed, but I have to admit it felt good. Anyway, my mom is supposed to come home from the hospital tomorrow and they don't know what caused her to pass out.

My new AC was installed late yesterday. It's working and finally cool in here.

Darlene - hope everyone starts to feel better soon. Yes, I am still recovering from my surgery last month. I get so frustrated at times cause I'm still not allowed to lift, vacuum, do anything strenuous for 6 - 8 weeks. I have an appointment with my gyn doc on Tuesday and hoping she'll tell me I can do everything again.

Andy - wishing you a quick recovery. Here's some PD for you. Looking forward to seeing you less than 3 weeks from now.

Tina - I recognized you right away. You're the one wearing the yellow helmet. Make sure you wear it on the 19th so you will all know what you look like.

I actually called the Radisson a few weeks ago (as a travel agent) to book a group of rooms and get a group discount, but I was told the rates weren't out yet. I'll was planning to call again - how many are planning on staying at the Radisson?

I am soooo excited about next year even though I just got my docs for my cruise this year. Sometimes I feel like I'm wishing my life away (maybe wishing that the next year goes by fast). Seems like not too long ago, we were all complaining about the snow and the winter.

Bev--happy to hear that your mom is coming back home and that you have a new air conditioner, it really does help to have air on these humid days!!!

Hi Andy,

I got you email and have replied.

Caitlin has a couple of thing going on,

1. She has swimmer ear, just got back with the med for that and new ear plugs. (Quess all the swimmin at camp caused that.

2. she is running a slight fever, the doc did a throat swap and quick test came back negative. They think it my be a viral infection. I suspect with her allergies it may be a compo drippy nose and cold. We will know more monday afternoon.

She is doing ok, but is complaining she cold due to the fever.

She is ok and happy other than that.

Same thing happened last year when we were going on a mini vacation, at least we have a few days this time for the med to kick in.

Ahh yes, swimmer's ear, I got that almost every year myself when I was a kid. I spent all summer in the pool, except when I had swimmer's ear. I remember how painful that can be. I hope Caitlin starts feeling better before you start your travel next week.

The swimmer ear wont be a problem, we started the med already, and since we are not flying no problem.

Driving down and taking autotrain.

I just hope the fever breaks in a day or two
If its viral as they think it will have to work its course.

Good Morning Everyone
After having the materials in the garage for a couple of weeks we started working on our patio yesterday. Chuck just wants to be able to enjoy one of these summer days just sitting out in the yard instead of working in it. One of these days that will happen.

Terry: We will most likely stay at the Hampton Inn at Cocoa Beach. Worked well for us last time and well, with Chuck's travel so much we can stay for free so we can't pass that up.

Andy: PD for tomorow. I am sure you will be glad this will be over with. Blue & Orange not my color but the picture did the trick. Glad it made you

Bev: Sorry the outfit was left in TN. Good thing because it didn't do a thing for my figure.

Sue: You really only can see a red x? Are you just kidding me? I don't know what to say...........Spent so much time to find just the right picture. I could try and put it in a link at webshots, let me know.

Ed: I hope it doesn't take long for the meds to kick in for Caitlin . Have a safe trip down and I am looking forward to meeting you & your family.

Karen: No buying or selling here from e-bay. Am I boring or what?


I saw on the other board that Castaway Cay should Have the Stingray City up by May of next year. I have done that before at Blue Lagoon but I think I would be interested in trying it at Castaway Cay? Can't wait to hear more details about this.
