Called the Disney Club Today........

Just got off the phone with Disney Club, and I asked about the nasty rumour of the club closing, the CM immedietly wanted to know where I heard this.
He said it wasn't supposed to be common knowledge yet, and he only found out yesterday. I told him check the internet if there is something you need to know! The Dis boards are full of great info......
He confirmed that it will close, and that starting in the spring of 2003, Disney marketing will be sending invitations for the new Disney Visa to people who are in the databanks.

He could not tell me if there will be an annual fee for the card, that hasn't been decided yet.

Frankly, I think they should close it, as for the last couple of years they have been removing the benefits from it anyhow. DH and I were just talking about this subject this morning.

I just renewed in August. I guess my one year membership will be cut short.
