Called MS and got a shock...update

I called this morning to change my reservations and got a shock/suprise from MS. We have a stay at SSR on developer pts. that I needed to add a night and removed 2. This entailed that the had to rebook the entire stay, so she put me on hold to do the magic they do for dev pts. reservations. When she returned, she informed me that I had and additional 60 dev. pts that need to be used by Oct. 3. Now I just did an add-on for 60 pts., and from what I understand, I should not have gotten dev. pts. My guide never mention dev. pts. when we talked and I never brought it up. I questioned her many times about it, but she never changed her tune. So did I get some PixieDust sprinkled my way or will they find the error and take them back?

My understanding was that you needed 100 pts. add-on for the developer pts.

Last time Disney gave me some points [from a reservation that was used, but they showed cancelled] I kept trying to tell them for months that wasn't right. Finally, gave up and booked a vacation, using those points. Guess what, about two months later they figured it out and borrowed to cover the discrepancy - throwing me into a serious mess for another trip. I would verify with my Guide.

The moral of my story: never believe everything MS tells you.
