Called for new code - Big Brother is Watching Me!!

When the new codes came out today, I called and reserved 2 rooms at the WL for Dec., then called later and asked about one concierge room at AKL for the same time period. The CM at CRO quoted to me how many times I've stayed at WDW total , and also told me I really wasn't supposed to book two resorts for the same time period . I told him I would decide within a couple days and cancel one ressie, so he let me hold two. It did make me feel guilty, though (just a little .
He also knew I was a DC member.
No more anonymous phone calls to CRO - they know it all .

Will anyone else be in the World Dec. 19-27??

In January, I had made reservations for WL through DTC and CRO. I just cancelled my ressie with DTC today after the codes came out. Whenever you have to call to check only one of your reservations, just give them your confirmation number instead of your name and zip code. I've always done this and have never had mention of two parallel reservations.

CRO knew the ages and names of my husband and children. Yikes! It did make the reservation process quicker but still an unsettling feeling.

As of today I have 3 ressies for the same time period - Ft. Wilderness Campground, ASMO, & POFQ. I kept anxiously waiting for the CM to tell me that I had too many ressies and I couldn't book another one, but she never said anything...whew! I will definitely cancel 2 of them in the next few days, just as soon as we make up our minds!

And yes, we'll be at the Poly Dec. 19-24!

I actually like the fact that they have all of my information already in the computer. Once, when I called in the CM first checked for DC rates for a ressie that I wanted to make. I didn't tell her that I belonged to DC and I had not asked her to check for the DC rate. She just already knew I was a member and checked for that first. I think the fact that they have that information makes the call more efficient and eliminates the possibility of spelling errors, etc.

I am surprised they don't keep better track than they do.
Let's face it, they could know your shopping, eating and park hopping habits! And maybe they do -- somewhere.

Same thing happend to me too, called today and she quoted me the last time I was there, kind of caught me by suprise since it was 6 years ago.

I don't think they do keep really good records. They do have the names and ages of everyone in the family but we always stay at he POly and oday when I made the reservaions ey didn' have that in there. The CM was going to go thru the whole spiel about the place. I wish they would reward you for being a loyal customer.

the Legend - LOL ! I am sitting here at 3:40 am EST with insomnia and it's nice to laugh. I'm with you though, they should KNOW that I need a code for January 03!!

Take heart, Disneydenise, I had a CM tell me last month that they were going to start rewarding repeat customers with more postcards. It might be true. We went in Jan 02 and since we've been back I've received 3 postcards.

Unfortunately, they still don't go into January. I am an obsessive planner. I need to be booking for January now! Hey Legend - do you think they have our mental stability in the system too?

yesterday when I made my AKL ressie for Oct.Decided to stay there a few nights then move over to the house my SIL rented.

The CM said how long are you going to be in the Orlando Area?
No one has ever asked me that befor.

I think they want to know if we are not staying with them the whole time because of rates. Not sure just a guess.

On our last trip in Feb I called CRO to make reservations off of a "lost" post card. I had received it shortly after 9/11 and tossed it thinking the world was going to come to an end.

I called and told them I had lost the post card but wanted to take advantage of the $84.00 moderates. They brought it up on the computer gave me the rate, knew all our names, when we had visited, and where we had stayed.

I am glad they keep all the info or I may had not gotten my post card rate -- and yes it was a card with a pin #.

When I asked for print out of my current Priority Seatings on one trip they printed out all the listing I had made using my home phone and wich ones I did not show up for.

About a year or so ago, when I called for some info on room rates and availability, the CM I talked to asked me questions - where we lived, birthdates of my kids, hotels we've stayed at in WDW, etc. When I called back several weeks later to actually book, the CM had all my info right there!! It is helpful, I guess, for them to already have a background on you. I guess if they know you are a family of five (or more), they know you would be interested in a deluxe, or booking two rooms.

I rang ... they had the name of my next TWO children, the next Winner of the World Series, Superbowl and Stanley Cup plus a great outlook for tomorrows Weather.

CM Cleo was great although I had trouble understanding the accent!
