Call room assigners to confirm requests?

We just had four rooms at Kidani for six nights. Our only request (made when we booked) was that we were traveling together and wanted to be near each other. Someone on here explained how many 2BR and 2BR Lock-offs were available in each section of Kidani, so I knew it would be impossible to have four rooms side by side, but was hoping for the rooms to be fairly close. I called MS about two weeks before our trip just to make sure it was still noted we were traveling together and they said it was. We did on-line check-in, but went by the front desk around 9:00 a.m. when we arrived at Kidani. Everyone checked to make sure they had charging privileges and got maps of the resort to keep with us while we went to the parks. When my husband went to the desk, the CM indicated that our request to be near one another had been fulfilled. Two of our group were told to park near a certain elevator, which was nice to know since we were leaving our cars and taking a bus to the park. So I was happy this time with our request being fulfilled.
 
I, just today, made a request for our arrival July 31. I did it through the Contact Us form on the website.
It is exactly what I expected...
