First a confession - I am a renter of DVC points
That being said, I seek the collectve wisdom of this board. I'm trying to be a good renter, so when MVMCP tix went on sale I called the regular WDW-DISNEY phone line, not MS to order my tix. The problem came when the nice CRO person asked for my confirmation number and after I gave it to her, she said that it was an invalid number. I mentioned that I had rented DVC points and she said "that's probably the problem." Not a problem ordering these tix but after I hung up it occurred to me that I might have some future problems. So my questions:
1) Is it normal for DVC confirmation numbers not to show up on the "regular" computer system?
2) When I call to make ADR's, how will WDW-DINE know i'm 180 days out if I'm not in their system?
3) Do you think I should call MS to straighten this out? I know some members do not like this option.
Some might suggest that the member call for me, but as far as the ADR's go, I feel that Plan B or C might need to be employed at times and that just gets too confusing and time-consuming for the member. Does that make sense?
I appreciate your thoughts,
