That is just so wrong. What on earth would possess someone (actually two someones!) to encourage the dating system that is so screwed up to begin with?

it is not just one mom/set of parents doing this. TWO moms/sets of parents are doing this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unbelievable!!!!!!

It is not a "date" as much as she would like to call it that.

A REAL date is when a person picks you up at your house and then drives away with your loved one.

I went on my first date at 5.

It was very sweet actually. It was one of my friends from my neighborhood, and he wanted to take me on a date- he had older sisters who were just starting to date.

So early one Friday evening, he and his parents showed up at my front door. He gave me a pack of Marshmallow Peeps, and then he and I (and all 4 parents) walked 2 blocks to our neighborhood movie theater, where we saw Dumbo. And shared a bucket of popcorn and a box of jujubes. Completely innocent.
