Call me confused !!!! Childrens Buffet

I just hung up with Disney Dining, and the CM told me there was no change in thier computers regarding the age change to 9 for the Buffets. (didnt catch her name,) and she sounded so sure, she even said to me, she works in dining and would know if these changes were happening.......

Then I called back and this time I got" Leopold ", he assured me that as long as I made the PS's before July 1, they would be honored at the old childs age rate of 11. ( he knew about the upcoming changes)


I guess my question is who do I believe?

I have heard (from a usually reliable source) that if the reservation was made before July 1 a 10 or 11 year old would still be charged the children's price. For reservations made on or after July 1, as well as walk-ins on or after July 1, a 10 or 11 year old will be charged the adult price.

HOWEVER, often, depending on the amount eaten, waitstaff have been know to charge the child's price for a young teen or not charge for a small child. This is on a case by case basis and is not officially supposed to happen. If you have a child who is not eating much it does not hurt to point this out to your waiter.

They told me I would definitely have to pay the new higher price for my 11DD for our July5th-9th trip. The pricing policy clearly starts July 1st no matter when the PS was made. I can't believe they would give you a confirmation that you would not be charged the adult price. Interesting...
