To connecting room experts -
What if the kids are 14 & 11 ?
Will WDW allow the connecting rooms at moderates ?

I think a cot will be a trip hazzard and we can not do the $$'s for
CR,BC,BW, YC.

I do not think they can guarantee bunk bed at the WL - or will they because my kids are almost teens and are a boy and girl.

You're right that they won't guarentee bunk beds.

What do you mean by "allow" connecting rooms? If you're wondering if there has to be an adult in the room, there doesn't. At the moderates, you have the benefit that all the king bed rooms connect to a room with 2 full beds, so you and your spouse can have a nice, big bed with your kids in the next room.

Some people report that they can't get guarenteed connecting rooms if they have more than one adult. Others have been able to get connecting rooms guarenteed with two adults, but never three. In any case, it's really not anything to worry about. I've never read anyone here report that they didn't have connecting rooms when they weren't planning on having an adult in the second room.

Disney will guarantee connecting rooms with 2 adults and 2 children - they don't expect the couple to separate for the vacation room wise.

I have done it many times no problem.

I have also done it twice with 3 adults and 4 children...the other adult was my single brother whose job may have prevented him from coming and I explained that in my call to CRO.

I received room confirmations for guaranteed connecting rooms all times.

They will try very hard to make it happen. However sometimes and not very often when you check in there are just not any connecting rooms to offer you.

So while the odds of this happening are very low at certain times of the year it can happen.

Just realize your connecting room request needs to be your priority. I know someone that wanted a corner room, connected to the room next to it, a certain view, upper floor. The front desk was just not able to make it all work.
