California kidnap victim possibly....

...the victim of a bitter custody battle between his parents!! They aren't calling his mom a "suspect" yet but they can't find her..... the custody battle was quite ugly apparently..... she lives in CO. and the vehicle he was taken in had CO. plates..... and she doesn't sound wound too tight (she was arrested recently for violating a restraining order against her 4th husband).

What a terrible thing for a parent to put their child through....

When I read the story, that's the first thing that popped up in my head-the mom was involved and it was a custody thing. She was just using all the hype of the other abductions as a cover up. The part where they beat the crap out of the father and the reports I read mentioned nothing about the mother made me really think that's what was going on. It's sad that she would put her on child through this, but I hope for his sake this is indeed what happened.
