California Grille - meal time length ?

Hi How long does it take on average to get through a 3 course dinner here ?

We had an 8:05 dinner ADR, and we were leaving after 10:30. We are one chatty bunch, though, and it was the evening prior to our departure, so I'm sure this impacted our time. Our CM help off on dessert until after Wishes, which was at 10PM so that we could enjoy the display. Hope this helps.

We ate here for the first time last year. We have 2 girls ages 6 & 9 at the time and our ADR was at 8:20p and Wishes was scheduled for 10:00p that night.

Long story short, we didn't make it!! The waiter tried to hold dessert and drag it out but we just couldn't make it. We left about 9:40p.

I'd say if you do not have little ones that are getting bored/tired, you definitely could make it but we didn't.

Luckily we were staying at the CR with a MK view so it wasn't the end of the world.

Our ADR is currently 6pm though I am going to try nearer the time to get an 8pm or 8.30 ADR. If we cant I will still stick to the 6pm adr and go to MK for wishes and Spectromagic. That night wishes is scheduled for 9pm.

If you finish up, say, within 1/2 hour of Wishes, will they let you "hang around" out on the observation deck? I've got a 6:10 ADR on a nite when Wishes is scheduled at 8:00. I didn't want to try for any later in case they were running very late, or whatever, making me possibly miss seeing Wishes. But on the other hand, I am solo (so it's kind of hard to drag out dinner too much),, and they're on time....
