We have ressies at the CG for my DD birthday. I just found out we have friends who are in the Disney at the same time. Will they let our friends in the CG to celebrate my DD birthday?? I am ordering a cake to celebrate.

I wouldn't risk it. If they don't have a big enough table, they may not let them in. Try looking for a reservation for more people, or get them their own reservation close to the time of yours...they may not be seated with you, but I'm sure they could come sing Happy Birthday at your table and the go back to theirs. You wouldn't want to disrupt anyone's dinner. If it were me, I would just switch restaurants and keep looking for a larger party for CG.

I am sorry but what are planning to do. Just have these people show up and stand around your table while you sing and eat cake or do you hope to show up with a bunch of extra people to add to your reservation for dinner.

Both ideas are likely to fail. Hopefully Disney would realize that allowing your friends up to crash dinner so they could have cake would interfere with the other guests having a nice meal. And as busy as that place is showing up with an extra family is probably either going to get you told "no" or have you waiting a LONG time. (once again it's a little rude to hope they will "bump" someone from a big table to give it to you)

You will need to find a reservation that includes everyone that you want in the restaurant to celebrate your daughter's birthday. Even if they are allowed to come up without a reservation, I doubt they will be able to stand around the table eating cake and celebrating. It would be much too disruptive for the nearby tables.

I think that you are looking at DIsney DIning as you look at dining at home. It is two diffeent animals. WHen you dine at Disney you make an ADR, and it is not a reservation. It is like call ahead at Olive Garden. A place in line that you reserved. You cannot just add a persom or two, they also need their place in the line in order to be granted access to the restaurant. If you want your friends to join you, you need to find that ADR that coincides with your own, but even that will not allow you to be seated together. You may, but then again, you may not. The only way they can be seated with you is if you can increase the number of people on your ADR. I would either try to do this, or if celebrating together is more important than the location, change where you eat.
