california grill

Excellent! One of the best meals we had at Disney....a must do on our next trip!

Absolutely love it! Great food, great service, beautiful view. It's one of my favorite places on property.

Our favorite too! And the waiters are the best on property imho. Can't beat that view either.

After just eating there Thursday night for the 4th time in 4 years, I have to say it is wonderful! :goodvibes

This is one of my favorite places to eat at Disney. My husband and I get one of each (roll, flat bread, salad, and main dish) and split it. It is more than enough food for the two of us.
You can't go wrong here! It's awesome

Very good sushi. I had the Spicy Kazan roll for an appetizer-to die for! I forget my main meal....the sushi was so so good.

Our favorite WDW restaurant. We visit each year. The food and view are wonderful. 17 days until our next meal there, and I can't wait!!

We really enjoy it as well... my DS asked to eat here for his 16th birthday!!!

Okay, I'll be the odd man out. DH and I were not impressed at all. The portions were small, prices were high, and food wasn't great. The service was great, but that's all we could say for it.

We ate there 2 years ago. I was really excited to eat there for the view of Magic Kingdom, the food, the fireworks, etc. My whole family was so disappointed. The presentation of the food looked amazing on the plates, didn't taste good. My kids couldn't even eat their meals--and they usually eat most anything. We paid over $250 for 4 and had to eat later on because we were still hungry. I'll never go back. We've never had a bad meal at Le Cellier. That's one restaurant we never miss on our vacation.

Inside was just okay, view was spectacular, food was good but not to die for. Our waiter was very on top of things but not exactly what you would call friendly. We were confused when he told us they were out of a specific dessert but then heard people at several tables around us order and receive it after that? oh well. It was well worth it for the view but I'm not sure we would do it again. Too many other places to try :)

We have eaten here many times because we all love sushi. The view is great, we've always had good service. I think the entrees are only so-so and this place is very noisy. I think there are several better places to eat unless you are after sushi.

Had our first meal there last month and absolutely enjoyed our sushi, entrees, dessert, service and the view. The service was at a very high level and came from every person we encountered: check in, elevator host, etc.

We ate early and returned for fireworks viewing, same great service and we were lucky enough to find a table opening up in the lounge area (first come first serve, so ressie needed). We had tea and enoyed the show.

We'd definitely return.

We always make an effort to go to California Grill whenever we go to WDW. The service has always been spectacular and the view is to die for, especially if you're seated in the main dining room. That said, we were seated in the "back room" on our last trip. It was small and intimate....maybe 4-5 tables back there I'd say....and had a view facing Bay Lake instead of Seven Seas Lagoon and the castle. It was nice, especially if you're looking for a romantic dinner away from the noise of the main dining room, but we prefer being in the main dining room with the MK view. Again, however, we've always loved the service and the food. I always get the Sonoma Goat Cheese Ravioli as an appetizer. I've never personally eaten the sushi although DH raves about it. I'm allergic to shellfish, so although it always looks fabulous, I've been afraid to try the sushi. The waitress, however, informed me that the chefs would be more than happy to make sushi for me, with clean knives and prep boards, to ensure no cross contamination. I can't say enough good things about California Grill and look forward to our next visit in September.

We love California Grill! We have been on each of our last 5 trips! We are actully trying Narcoossee's this year but I think we are going to miss CG. Enjoy, the sushi is awesome!
