Do many people go out onto the observation deck? Is it directly off the resturaunt? I've never eaten at CG, but might on my next solo trip. Could I eat at the counter (isn't there a kitchen you can sit at?), then go outside to watch "Wishes"?

There are actually 2 observation decks which are located off the side of the restaurant.

Cali Grill is our absolute fave & a MUST DO for us every trip.

We loved the flatbread & the goat cheese ravioli is TO DIE FOR . Yum! I want to be at Cali Grill now!!!

We were there in February and it was really cold at night, so not many people - none actually were on the observation deck. Everyone watched by the windows.

Yes, you can eat at the counter!

We liked the salads, sushi, flatbreads, pork, beef, and seafood entrees and most of all Wishes. We did not like the free range chicken or the waitress (the bartender was fantastic), I regret not speaking to the manager about her (or at least remembering her name so I could broadcast it all over the DIS).
