We are planning a dinner at California grill with my son and his friend both will be 14. Both of the boys love sushi and the Flatbread look very good. Neither boy is a huge fan of cheese, especially goat or more unusual ones, or different sauces. Will the servers have a problem with requests?
Both boys want to go mainly for the sushi and fireworks.
Thank you for any advice.

California Grill, like all Disney restaurants, are very accommodating to changing menu items to suit your tastes. Their sushi is awesome, so they will most definitely enjoy. And when we've had the flat brads they've been pretty basic with the cheese but I'm sure you could adjust as needed.

Thank you. Do you happen to know if the sushi or flatbreads can be ordered as the entree? It's so funny that my son will eat any sushi, even eel, but a fully cooked shrimp or scallop will turn his stomach

Yes they can be ordered as entrees. We've had meals of only sushi here and I've done just a flatbread as my entree too

I do not eat cheese and have ordered the flatbread without with no issue (except from my husband who shared it with me!

We go to the Grill, every trip, two times a year, 12 years running...

You will be just fine :). Give your sons a bit of rope.... the Grill can EASILY deal with teens :). And if there are dietary issues? They deal with THIS perfectly :). Just try to avoid "Humans: Not just for breakfast anymore" T shirts :).

California Grill is one of my almost 18 year old son's favorite! We've been going since he was about 11. He is relatively picky and he always has them make him a cheese only flatbread (nothing that simple is on the flatbread menu) and does not want any sauces on his meat. He also only eats French fries...no mash or fancy potatoes for him. They never bat an eye hen he asks for what he wants how he wants it!

Yup :goodvibes

Last time DS and I ordered a sushi and a flatbread and shared it. We then split a dessert.
Of course we finished the sushi and took half the flatbread home - was too much food.
Heading back next week and doing the same.
