Can you get sushi for your appetizer at California Grill on the Deluxe Dining Plan?

Yes, except for the Snake in the Grass roll and Yoshi's Deluxe Platter. These two selections can be ordered only as entrees.

FYI: The Snake in the Grass at California Grill was no longer on the menu when we were there a few weeks back. It has been replaced by a (wonderful) Dragon Roll which is also an entree rather than an app on the deluxe plan. I love the deluxe plan there - a sushi app and a sushi entree.

At Teppan Edo there is no sushi available on the dining plan. The sushi menu is separate and does not count as a DxDDP appetizer.

I believe you can get that as a DxDP appetizer, but don't quote me on that. The big sampler platter is an entree, however.

Sushi is not included as an appetizer at Teppan Edo. Not so sure about Wolfgang Puck Cafe. I think you can order certain selections an entree but not an appetizer.

OMG!!!! I hope that's not permanent. I look forward all year to the Snake in The Grass (It's AMAZING). I do the same thing as you when I go there. Sushi for an App and Sushi for an entree.
