I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask but, I am going to the world 4-21 through 4-27 and trying to get a reservation for California Grill for 24, 25, or 26, but there is nothing available. I know its late but are plans had changed and it will be only myself and best friend. Is it possible to go to California Grill without a reservation and eat at the bar? If anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated.

Yes it is. DH and I had an ADR there a few months ago that we were early for. We asked the host if we could go up to the restaurant and have a drink at the bar which was no problem. When we got up there we sat at a table overlooking the castle in the lounge ( part of the bar area) and ordered drinks. There was a family next to us that had full meals including desserts on their table. When the host came to get us for our table, he asked us if we wanted to stay where we were for dinner since our view was so good:) This was around 7:30 PM in December. You would have a better chance of doing this very early, as close to opening time as possible

I agree with eeyoresmom. You can also sign up for TouringPlans reservation finder and see if you can snag a reservation that way. Keep trying. I've seen Cali Grill reservations open up last minute!

The reservation finder at touring plans has saved us several times. Also, keep checking as people cancel in the last 30 days and even up to the day.
Its one of our favorite restaurants and worth the effort to get and ADR.
