California Grill question.

This may be a dumb question so forgive me - but do you HAVE to order the first course?

I am SO excited about eating here!!!

You can order whatever you'd like. Last year, when my family went (for FD), we ordered entrees and desserts - that's all.

Next March I am considering making ressies just to eat an appetizer and have some of their excellent wine (I should explain that my family are not big eaters and we can make a meal out of two appetizers). My DD was sick the night we went, so she did not get to see the lovely view.

We are on the regular dining plan and I was wondering if I could order sushi as my entree?

(I will probably order a different starter and pay OOP for it.)

The sushi just looks too substantial for a starter and I want to leave room for dessert?

From what I have been told in the past is that sushi can be picked as an entree... who knows with all of the changes recently. It never hurts to ask.
