Narcoossee's is a little more laid back. Both would provide a great experience for your family. The menues are different, so perhaps you might want to pick based on the selection of food.
Hmm, then I will still have to stick to Narcoossee's.
Great fireworks view from the deck. Great view of the Electric Water parade going by(our 6yo was mesmerized by this). Boat ride to and from MK transportation center adds a nice touch to the evening. Deck is great in case a time out is needed. Restaurant while very nice isn't a "china shop" so families can be comfortable.
Finally, dessert choices at Narcoosee's are great. The Almond Crusted cheesecake is amazing and gets raves on these boards. I can't say I recall CG desserts getting similar praise. Someday I'll get to CG, but Narcoossee's was just amazing.
For the fireworks I would go with CG but Narcosee all the way for the menu. CG you can go out on the deck and watch them and have some more room, but we love Narcosee. Key Lime Creme Brulee....Hmmmm!!!
Narcoossee's - food is excellent and the atmosphere's great too. And i'm sure your kids will like eating right on the water with a view of the castle in the background. And they'll love watching the Electric Water Parade from the deck!
I vote for Narcoossee's -- hands down. It was by far, the best dining experience we had during our May trip -- from the food (mmm, the lobster bisque, lobster tail and almond-crusted cheesecake) to the service (great) and the atmosphere (right on the water, with an outside deck to view the Electric Water Parade and Wishes) -- just wonderful.
Another vote for Narcoossees. We did this last year and just made my ADR's again today for Narcoossees for December. Watching the fireworks from the deck was awesome. Afterwards DD3 saw the water pageant and she loved it.
It is less a matter of how much time, but when to make the ADR. They'll help stagger the meal so you'll be able to take a break and go watch, remember they do this almost every night. We had an ADR for around 90mins before Wishes. I think we were up to dessert by the time it started.
