Which one of these two would you choose and why??? Thanks!!

The food is good at Le Cellier and it's a nice atmosphere but California Grill is special. There is a much better menu at CG (more selection, better food), the tables seem more intimate, you are kind of on top of your neighbors at Le Cellier. The service at CG is incredible. Our last visit we had a server who'd worked there for 17 years. He was extrodinary. We don't have children but we've been seated next to children at both restuarants and we noticed them less at CG (though, that may have to do with the child). The view is much better at CG. You either have a view of the castle or a view of the on stage kitchen both are delightful to watch. Le Cellier is, well, lets face it, in the basement and though it is dark, cozy and inviting, the atmosphere does not come close to CG. When we go to the parks we have lunch at Le Cellier and dinner at CG. The last time we went to CG the chef sent us a platter of Sushi. Much to our dismay because neither my DH or myself like sushi or fish for that matter. I didn't want to insult Chef State so I dug in and let me tell you I love sushi at the CG. It was so delicious. I then found out that they have a master sushi chef there, she made a believer out of me. I actually crave the stuff now. Sorry I got on a tangent. Bottom line, California Grill trumps Le Cellier (and the difference in price reflects it)

Keep in mind that you may be forced to "dress up" just to get in the California Grill.

It's an apples/oranges comparison. The restaurant styles and dining experiences are completely different. CG is upscale (menu, service, etc.). LC is more middle of the road, with a good, straightforward menu.

All things considered, I'd choose both!!

I would say California Grill

This is why...we love LeCellier and the food is great but CG is a memory making place...awesome views of WDW unbelievable setting and really great upscale food!! If you have the $$$$ go for CG IMHO.

P.S. if you do CG ask for window seat!

I also agree, the 2 just don't compare. LeC is good food, just kind of a normal meal at Epcot.

CG is a specail event. The food is good, the view takes your breath away. Evevery Disney fan should do it once in their life time.

If you are looking for a place to eat after a busy night at the parks, LC. If you want a specail never forget dinner CG.

(if you want a place to eat that after a busy night at the parks, but is in Contemptory try the Consorse steak house. It is nice and more of an compairsion to LC. It is right next to Cheif Mickeys. We are always pleased with it.) I guess the difference is between "being pleased with it and being blown away." :teeth:

CA Grill is our very favorite WDW restaurant. It is more upscale than the atmosphere at Le Cellier. The food, service and view are always wonderful. We really enjoy Le Cellier, but I just don't feel the Disney Magic that I feel when we eat at CA Grill! princess: pirate: :earboy2:

I really enjoy both of these. You should eventually try both of them. But, I would try the California Grill first. I had the Oak-fired Beef Filet this past FEb. and it was fantastic. Also you can watch the fireworks from the CG. You can't beat that.

How about CG for dinner and Le Cellier for lunch (though probably not on the same day). My husband had the BEST french dip sandwich for lunch at Le Cell.

I too have to agree with 2infinityandbeyond.. both are good rooms and both are very different.. the apple/orange thing is on the money...
