I have booked a Speciality Cruise for our anniversary to watch the fireworks at MK. We are staying at the CR and I'm torn where to eat our dinner. Originally I had decided on CRT, I've always wanted to eat dinner in the castle. I'm pretty sure the FITS we be at 8:00 pm. We could eat dinner at CRT and then go over to the CR to pick up the cruise. We could also do the cruise first and then have dinner at CG, another restaurant we wanted to try or have dinner at CG before the cruise. I'm confused and my head hurts. Any suggestions would be a big help. Thanks in advance.:D

Without a doubt California Grille is the absolute way to go. I had the best meal during my entire vacation. (and we ate at Citrocos, Portobello Yacht Club, Artist Pointe and others..... California Grille was the best....plus you have the best view and it is very
romantic. We got a table by the window accidentally. We were actually having a drink at a bar table and decidded to stay. We had the best view of the castle lit up and the electrical water pageant on the water......It was beautiful..... totally the best evening.... Good luck........... let me know if you have any questions.....

Oh, yes, California Grille!

It is very special, and though CRT is, too, having done both I'd prefer CG for an anniversary-type occasion.

Also, you may know this already, but if you want a cocktail to toast your occasion, CRT does not serve liquor (just as all of MK is alcohol-free). CG, on the other hand, has a terrific bar and wine selection.

Thanks for the quick reply. That's a good point Mrs. Snowgod, I didn't realize that CRT doesn't serve alcohol. Now, do you think it would be too late to dine after the cruise? We probably wouldn't be back at the CR till around 8:45 or 9:00. Do you think eat first or cruise first? I know this sounds like a simple decision but I have planned this entire trip, including all PS's and I even snagged an Illuminations Cruise to surprise DH and a Pirate Cruise to surprise DD. I think I am all planned out...that's what's so great about these boards. Sometimes it helps to have an objective third party take a look at your plans.:D

The food and atmosphere is by far better at California Grille. It's excellent. Let them know you are celebrating when you make your ps. You won't be disappointed.:bounce: :Pinkbounc
