My Husband and I did that exact thing last year. We booked a late reservation and timed it perfect to see Holiday Wishes, since we weren't going to the
MVMCP. It was so pretty, and they dimmed the lights and piped the music in, I was transfixed! We were on the DxDP, and had some credits to waste since we took a day away and went to over to the "dark side" aka Universal, earlier in the week. We were able to order 4 rolls total, 2 as our appetizers (1 app per person comes with the DxDP) and 2 rolls as our main dishes. The rolls were HUGE and delicious!!! It filled us up completely, we were only able to take a few bites of dessert before we gave up! The rolls there were much, much bigger, and way more delicious than the ones they offer at Kona Café. If you are a fan of sushi, I would certainly go there to try the rolls!! Some people will argue that it's a waste of your TS credits, especially if you are on the regular
DDP, but we go during
free dining, so we get the DxDP as an upgrade, and then we don't have to worry about money/budgeting for food. I get the plan for the convenience factor, not necessarily for the money saving factor. And, if we are just getting sushi, the tip is cheaper, lol. I cant exactly remember what rolls we ordered, but I looked on the menu from All Ears, and I think we got the Spicy Kazan, Dragon, Cali Combo, and Crispy Crab. I'm sure they are all delicious!!
