We love CG! The last few times we were there, We noticed a few parties having DINNER in the lounge/waiting area. They looked quite uncomfortable pulling large chairs around small cocktail tables. Does CG allow this?? I always have an ADR and I need a place to sit and enjoy my martini!! Needless to say, I found them annoying!

We had drinks at California Grille on our last trip; and had sushi at the bar. I agree that it's awkward to eat at a tiny table; but if it's that or a 2 hour wait because you don't have a ADR, I'd probably do it.

They would annoy me also--way too small and low to the floor for a full meal. But obviously some folks don't mind.

Last time we ate there, we were given the option of eating in the lounge area. We had ADR's and they sat us by a window in the lounge. It was great!

So, yes. They allow it. And, in our case, they encouraged it.

Why would you find the diners annoying?

You can always enjoy your martini at your table once you are seated or grab one and enjoy the view from the deck while you wait.
