California Grill at 9:05?? Too late?

Hi there!

We have an ADR for Cali Grill at 9:05pm on 10/28 (all I could get on our 180 day mark). Every year it’s our first night at Disney tradition! We like to take our time, have a bottle of wine, sushi and full entrees with dessert when we go there. I’m afraid since it closes at 10 we won’t be able to get the full experience and will feel rushed by the waiter. How many of you have had a late ADR there? Did you feel rushed? Curious to see what others have experienced dining there so late!

We've only been there once but it was scheduled at 9 so we could watch the fireworks at 10. We didn't feel rushed. I believe they stop taking reservations at 10 - doesn't mean you have to leave at 10.

We’ve been to CG for a later start dinner a few times. We never felt rushed. The servers were really clear that we could/shpuld take our time. There’s definitely a lull while fireworks are going. Our servers have always explained how the fireworks will affect the timing, as the kitchen essentially goes on hold for a few minutes.

I wouldn’t worry about it at all. We had the “five minutes before they close reservations” more than once and have never been rushed or treated any different. Our favorite !

This makes me feel 1000% better! I figured this would be the case! Our plane lands at 5:45 so we’ll be rushing to get there. I didn’t want to be rushing only to get there and have a not so great experience! Thanks so much!
